Jesus was the end of the Mosaic Law covenant and a new covenant was instituted. They follow many princibles but you no longer had to be a Jew to be excepted by God. God's spirit left the Jews upon his death because they rejected him.

One convincing evidence of this was after Jesus died the curtain of the most holy at the temple was torn in two by God. Before that, only the high priest was allowed into the most holy which represented Jesus,, any one else who tried to enter was killed by God. By exposing the most holy showed the scribes, priest and pharasees that they no longer were excepted by Jehovah. But the priest repaired the curtain with out God's direction fooling the people into thinking that jesus death was nothing and that he was not the Son of God.
The Desciples continued to follow Jesus comand to spread the Good news of God's Kindom from door to door Acts 20:20. And soon Dan 2:44 will be fullfilled in our generation. So continue to listen carefully to the news and world events and you will see something happen that no man has ever seen before,

Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

Matthew 6 is a good representation of what the Pharisees did to interrupt the regulation of Moses. So i might refer you to that financial disaster. The Pharisees theory that they have been residing the regulation of Moses. They have been sinning the full time yet theory that they did not. They have been 'blind'. yet they claimed that they could see. it rather is in the Gospel of John. in case you mean the Pharisees, that they had the order from God to be the place they have been. They have been Levites after all.

The failed to strictly follow the sabbath observances even while Jesus was still physically with them.

Then the dietary laws fell away, and finally, all the rest.

The new covenant was all new, and based on grace, not law.

Get over it, already.
