Invite them over to blow up your (innocent) family next then. Maybe we should send a list to the 'honorable' people, of those who feel like you so they know who to bomb.

The courage to be a marted by allowing oneself to be murdered by another for refusing to give up ones beliefs is an honorable thing. New Testament characters such as Paul, Peter and John the Baptist are good examples.

However, it is not cowardly rather than honorable when one takes his/her own life.

It is murder rather than an honorable act when someone commits murder.

Therefore, terrorists can be defined a murdering cowards.

Dying for ones belief is only honorable if it is done 2 ways. Peacefully or at a point when it doesnt hurt the innocent (i.e. soilders killing one another). Ghandi is the ultimate example of honorable. He was an amazing man and he taught his people to do no harm but stand up for what they believe. Martin Luther King Jr taught these exact same things.

Terrorist die to hurt the innnocent and to cause terror in a population not to stand up for what they believe. They die to hurt another human being. That is not cool. That is not honorable. Innocent people dont deserve bad.

The damage done in warfare is comparable to the damage done by terrorists. The difference in modern times is the willingness to work towards a settlement of the differences. The terrorists are still operating by the rules of warfare of hundreds of years ago, where the goal is to kill 100% of the enemies.

Look at the end of WW II ... Germany and Japan surrendered, the fighting stopped, they were given help to rebuild the nation. In the current war, our enemy is never going to give up, we are never going to give up. It is a war to the death of one side, and a lot of damage to the winning side.

We are willing to die for our country, but only in carrying out legal honorable orders. Attacks are made on military targets. The state of art is that sometimes there are civilians hurt, but it is not like we are targeting masses of civilians as was the method of WW II where cities were bombed en mass to try to destroy the other side's will to fight (that approach did not work).

The terrorists, for the most part, are not attacking military targets like air bases, tanks, battleships, rather they are attacking night clubs, restaurants, hotels, school busses, shopping malls.

Because they are killing innocent people. If they choose to die for their beliefs, then they need to leave others out of it. Taking innocent lives makes them terrorists. Their main objective is to "terrify," in the name of hatred, thus the name terrorist.

Taking your life or others' lives is a SIN. No religion advocates that. Dying for your beliefs is a personal issue and should not involve other innocents, neither should they invoke and dishonor the holy name of their religion and God.

When is dying in the name of stupidity ever honourable?

One who is willing to die for his belief is a martyr One who is willing to kill others and then make himself just colateral damage is a terrorist.

It's because they kill others in the process. It will be fine if they only kill themselves.
