What the hell are the Ten Commandments for when all you have to do is believe in God. I mean seriously if you obide all of those except for the first one you will go to hell. BUT apprently being good has nothing to do with what happens to your soul. <<< direct quote from a yahoo user

I cringe at the brutal answers i will recieve. Will it make it better if I tell an untruthful truth that may be considered as a truth in a way that, to me, is not really a truth that can be considered truth?

Due to the lack of answers. I believe i should convert to polyreligism. I will be christian, muslim, buddhist, jewish, hindu, satanist, and the other million religions i do not know of.

The bible says that if you brake one of God's laws, you have violated all of them,that 's what God says and if you like it or not , you will be judged according to the way you have lived your life.

Moses received the Ten commandments twice.
The first ten he received to deliver to his people, but when he returned and saw that the people were building a statue of gold to worship, he returned to the mountains, destroyed the first ten and received ten new ones that an ignorant people could understand.

They are similar to the owners manual to a new automobile, only the second set that Moses received is the owners manual for true human beings.

The Ten Commandments are meant for Jews. They are 10 of the 613 laws G-d told us to follow.
The rest of humanity has to follow the seven laws given to Noah.

Actually, if you read the Bible, you'll find that Moses DIDN'T WANT to go get laws. He went, returned, his people sent him again. God finally gave them to him.
