I once took several E-Holy books and zipped them into compressed files. The Book of Mormon and the King James bible percentage of compression were nearly the same and near the top compressors. The Analects of Confucious had almost no compression in comparison.

The gist of the discussion out there (sorry, there are too many pages to provide all the links) is that wands help to focus the magic resident in the witch or wizard, but wandless magic is still possible, particularly for very talented people like Snape and Dumbledore. Some examples ... Apparition Assuming one's Animagus form (or Metamorphpagus) Accio (the Summoning Charm) Elves can do magic without using wands Lumos

I totally agree! When they say, "and it came to pass that i, nephi, did such and such..." do they think we wouldnt know that it acutally happened if they just said "i nephi, did such and such..." ??? I think we would be able to catch on. Either way it's still a false book written by a delusional pervert.
Besides, they've never had a problem with altering it before, have they?

Sounds good to me. Then they can start on all the, "And *** begat ---, and --- begat (((, and ((( begat &&&, and &&& begat ^^^, and ^^^ begat so and so of the New and Old Testaments. Like it matters in WISDOM. When I see all these people who believe in a God who is said to be the "Almighty" but in "holy words" behaves like Saddam Hussein did while alive, you get my point. This God of wrath says I love you one minute and also says Obey or I will destroy you? Whatever happened to "intelligent" reasoning ?.......

If one were to revise it to modern sensibilities it would cease to exist.

That would certainly make it more readable. But it would remain a pretentious mess of drivel.
