i hear some preachers teach that when the rapture comes, those who have heard the gospel and are left behind can not be saved because God will send them a strong delusionthat they should believe a lie. but others say they can be saved. please serious answers only.

I don't get it. Why are the ones convinced of the theory of human evolution so enraged that the mere mention of a alternate explanation of the Universe? "Teaching" implies the passage of knowledge from teacher to student, as in Mathmatics for example.
It should be obvious that the possibility of a Supreme Being falls well within the boundaries of philosophy, AND science, there being no way at present for any ABSOLUTES in either area. TEACHING as undisputed fact that which is so full of controversy ......and major bias. Why not present both sides? Why not let the student decide? Without fear of ridicule or worse if they should decide chance mutation and "natural selecton" (instead of possibly simple adaptations) seem contrary to what their heart tells them? Biology need not always be presented in evolutionary terms. Observable biological processes and other "True Science" that does not require blind faith in any theory ought to be the ONLY criteria for academic progress.

I think there should be a good reason why the Bible would say that it's wrong. And it's based on reason, not emotion.

people speak so badly about them and make them seem like a cult when they aren't a cult. let me hear about your personal experiences w/ jahovas witnesses. what is something good about them and what is bad. good and/or bad experience. i'm in no religion right now although i believe in god and jesus and pray just about every night and haven't been to chruch in years and i am considering becoming a jahovas witness. what is your thoughts?

I've read the answers for that q and I wanted to mention some thing….
One answer said …. (Yep and it's a lot easier to prove than a stolen god figure...)
Another said (there's more proof they exist than 'God'...)….. (We are the people with brains.)
I just wanted to ask them and others who are the same (if they still existed)…….

Do you think there is such a thing? Christians are told to meditate on God's Word. I take that as reading and focusing on the Bible.. but what about meditation... What type of meditation can be suitable for a Christian? I guess what I'm hoping to find is some way of gathering myself at the end of each day and perhaps a way of preparing myself each morning other than prayer. Prayer will still be what connects me to God but i think I'm just looking for someway to step outside of reality for a while cuz it's just too much to bear at times. In my past I just got high.. but I've been drug free for years so I need a new option. Something that can give me some relief and I hope that meditation can help me focus in and accomplish that... sorry i ramble... it's a disorder..can't help it... so.. any suggestions?

We need to get everybody saved by grace. So that when Jesus comes back we can all have eturnal life. i am a christian, but everyday i start to think differently. I think that some of the christian religon has been made up by man. Dont get me wrong, i believe in God, i follow gods words, i know right from wrong and stuff but i feel like some things in the religon have been made up

whats the point of living if you wont remember your loved ones when you die! this whole time i have believed my loved ones have been watching over me from above than today i find out that when you die you dont remember your loved ones anymore!

It's occurred to me that in this world where everyone tries to be politically correct all the time, the truth is, A LOT of stereotypes are just plain true. But people get mad when you say so. I think that people need to admit to themselves that a lot of stereotypes are true. Why else would they exist? People don't just assign random attributes to groups of people. They have to come from somewhere. Right? What makes stereotypes wrong is when people assume a stereotype applies to ALL people. For example, I think it's true that many Asians can't drive, but to meet an Asian who I've never seen drive and assume he can't drive- that would be wrong. Many black people can dance- but that doesn't mean they ALL can dance. So, what do you people think? Am I right or wrong in your opinion?

People in wheelchairs, crutches, and people that have other disabilities often use their disability to escape the normal parts of life. Many of them live near as long as a regular person, life doesn't need to move any faster. They won't die from waiting in line now will they? Autistic children go to school, don't they?
