I don't mean if god feels another person's pain and suffering, I mean if god can feel it personally.

For people who say god does suffer personally, why wouldn't god fix his situation of sufferring? God does have the power to do so does he not?

I'm quite undecided about religion, don't like it, think it's just another side of politics, and the dubious side at that, but i do have a tendency to believe in god, beats me why, but i would like to think that God understands ones pain, but then I'm human , so i can't decide about whats superhuman(if i can call him that!).

God is all powerful, and He knows the end from the beginning. In situations where we suffer pain & loss, He feels it too, but, through faith , we have to TRUST God that He knows what He's doing, and that " all things work for good for those who love the Lord".

Yeah, it seems that god suffered personal distress in the old testament (when he would become angry, destroying and bringing pestilence). If you believe in the trinity, then Christ suffered on his way to the cross. Actually, a suffering god seems to be a common motiff among many religions, not just Christianity.

There is the trinity of God.
God as the father does not suffer. He is pure love and joy and anyone who reaches there can rejoice as God is joy and bliss.
God as son, like Jesus can have moments of pain. However, pain is an act of Satan. So, during the few moments of crucifixion, Jesus cried out, oh God why has thou forsaken me. Moments later, when Jesus was victorious in overcoming Satan and his delusion of pain, Jesus became aware of God and from that time onwards, there was just joy (once again). So, to answer the question, yes, God as the son can and will overcome the pain sent by Satan.
However, the method they employ to overcome the pain is the method of love towards God, the father. Their love for the heavenly father is so intense that the delusion of pain given to them by Satan is short lived.
So, why does God chose to suffer for a short time? To give us an example that the love for God can overcome any pain we have in our lives!
God as the holy spirit, is fully aware of our pain and anguish! He feels for our pain and if you call that pain, he has some pain. He does not want us to suffer but he wants us go back to him with all our love! He knows that his kingdom is full of love and happiness and wants us there, but very few people are willing to love God with all their heart and all their might.
I am sure you will find a lot of different answers, and no answer will be wrong except it depends on which aspect of God they refer to!
May God bless us all!

He feels pain and suffering because of what other people do and say against Him, He also felt pain as Jesus Christ on the cross

Yes, he does. He suffers for all the sin in the world, and feels pain because of it... Why? Because sin separates us from God, and the one thing God wants is for us all to be with Him.

If our connections to him are broken, that hurts him. When those heart-felt connections are restored, he rejoices. God feels all the same kinds of feelings that we do. Our feelings stem from his, because we are his children. The only difference is that God knows how to use all of his emotions in their appropriate context.

God created humans in his likeness. He is not Human. His son, Jesus was human. Humans feel pain and suffer, therefore Jesus felt pain, his Lord and Father understands your pain.

Of course he is. Didn't it mention in Genesis, He was happy after all has been accomplished? If He could feel joy, so is sad and, of course, suffering.

My first thought was He must surely feel my pain.

Can He feel it personally? Probably not. Only through compassion and empathy would He feel suffering.
