He doesn't sin right? What about the non-child molesting priests? I dont' think they sin. Or even nuns, they have no sins. So why aren't they considered "perfect"?

then they automatically believe in evolution? Is this indicitive if the religous mind-always needing an answer for comfort? Have they ever thought that maybe we just dont know how we came to be and never will and are quite comfortable with this. You do not have to know the right answer to know the wrong answer..

I took this test and I thought it was pretty fun. It measures how consistent your beliefs are, regardless of whether you're atheist or religious. My score is 2 direct hits and 1 bullet bitten.

Many go with another law of law vs law as rightly divided.
Few go with grace of law law vs grace as rightly divided.
Perhaps all should go with grace only, no mention of law.
For that is notably how the God Shew in Bible does end;
And that's what makes it all right and no left(behind) at all.

Truth about Law: worketh wrath on them who give it place.
Truth about Grace: is sufficient (no law law at all required).

What are your thoughts on such?

Namaste -
I would like a place in my garden with a fountain and a pool and a little place to get fresh water.

If Varuna is God of the Waters, or the Ocean, would a depiction of Varuna be suitable......or would that fall to Indra?

Is there a Puranic god who would be better? Krishna perhaps....or would Skanda like to cruise around in a cool spot and play in the waters. He seems so busy these days...maybe a layover would be nice for him?

Excuse my levity...but it seems likely that as an offering, a pool would be nice.

Love,
Lakshmi

in the Bible Jesus tells us that we should not lust.
From a Christian perspectiive, define and explain your definition of what it means to lust.

And why it would be considered a sin.
Come on dig deep guys, let me know what your heart tells you.

You challenge that God created us in his image, because you see it as narcissistic. Have you ever considered though...that our BODY is not the thing that is in His image...but your soul?

Where in the Bible does it talk about God's appearance? Nowhere, that's where. He is an infinite consciousness, existing beyond time and space...why would he have need to take a physical form? You take things too mucj out of context!Think of God as abbreviated into this form....a G.O.D. (Guiding Organizing Designing) process, if you will.

And how could the Earth have been created by chance? Here is a test:

The next time you do your laundry, throw your clothes up in the air. Big mess.
Do it again. Do it about a billion more times. Will the laundry ever land in a folded manner? No.

Is there any proof that it does exsist? How did the world start then? what's this about evloution? I believe the world started with the 'big bang', what do you think? If there really were a god, i think the world would be a better place than it is now, so why pray every night for a mircale that isn't going to happen?

I was just curious... I get the feeling that there's only a microscopic amount of christian abortion doctors...

However, I would be willing to bet that most abortion doctors are atheist.

I'm also sure that they can't wait to throw babies into the fires of the crematoriums by the bushels at that... all the while they are wearing a big sh*t eatting grin on their face...

but if anyone has any solid stats... let me know

Didn't the early papacy also prohibit the general population from reading the holy scriptures and interpreting them? Were'nt they the ones who changed the Ten Commandments to fit their needs? Why does the Watchtower Society change so many words in the Bible to fit their needs? Isn't the Bible God's Word as is?
