Yeah, Y!A is full of bull ish. And the main people to get picked on is Blacks and Muslims. Y!A expects everyone to do their part and report people but that really doesn't do a thing, because it's not like they actually look and see who's being reported. I once got reported because I said "*rolls eyes and submits answer*". It didn't really bother me until I saw Robert Shelton a few minutes later asking something like "niggggggers...".

I personally loathe such appellations and characterizations, Dusty, but THAT'S what tolerance is all about. Yup, you tolerate the stuff you like and the stuff you don't, unless there is some reason to think that the intolerance protrays an action that could injure someone -other than just their feelings-or encourage or incite others to do so.
Its all over the place kiddo -the Bible believing Christians take it on the chin for being "stupid" in their beliefs, the atheists are somehow immoral and are cruisin' for a bruisin' from the Almighty, the Republicans are rich, avaricious predators, and the democrats are simply commies in disguise. Nobody gets off easy here at Answers.
Which gives YOU an opportunity to ask the big, intimidating questions, such as, "Do you really believe that people of native African descent are of inferior intelligence and given to animal instincts?" ("Do you believe that Caucasians are -in the end result- really of superior intelligence?") How about, "Do you think that belief in Creationism is valid indicator of lower intelliegence? If so, please cite the studies that validate your position."
And all the rest.
Don't hold back, Dusty, you're as entitled to ask those confrontive questions as the psychiatric cases who provoke your dismay are entitled to voice their stupid opinions. Go ahead, hold some feet to the fire.

I do not doubt what you say. There may be severak reasons why they do not get reported. Some comments do not get reported because they are not read by viewers carefully enough, the viewers who have read them do not know how to properly report abuses or the readers who see the racist or otherwise abusive comments agree with what they are reading. Others do not report it because it does not touch their ethnic group (selfish). Yes. Unfortunately, racism is still alive and well in some people. It is proper to report any comment here that makes a specific reference or referencess to anyones color, race, nationality, religion or gender in an all inclusive and negative frame of reference because these are factors that no one can change and there are absolutely NO common negative characteristics that fit any one of these groups in an all inclusive manner. That is a fact that can be statistically documented if random sampling is done.

This is the second question I have seen addressing this issue and I am disgusted that people have made these type of comments. Unfortunately Ignorant and hateful people are everywhere. I can assure you that any time I have seen any racist things being said I instantly report the person. I know this doesn't make the situation go away but I just hope you realize there are some of us on this site (like yourself) who will not tolerate such things. Please don't allow these people to effect you as that is their whole goal. I know it's easier said than done and I hope that perhaps if we keep reporting these people they will eventually realize they are not welcome here.

Is there a rule against being stupid on this site? We're all entitled to free speech when we're stating how we feel, no matter how stupid or ignorant it is. You don't have to agree with the idiots, just let them have their say. If you don't like what they say don't read it and certainly don't allow it to get to you. Give them a thumbs down & go on about your business, you don't have to live with them or deal with them. Good luck.

It is true, also Mexicans and Asians are under attack. Nobody reports them and if you see the profiles of the people posting these hate questions, it is the only kind they post (and also attacking women).
I once made a comment about this (did you notice that...) and my question got deleted, it will be no surprise if yours gets deleted too.
Keep reporting them when you see them, that is all I can do.

You are absolutely right. I've had my accounts suspended for calling white racists idiots. Meanwhile white racists like Gary C are constantly making racist anti-Black comments and creating racist questions and they're at level 5 in some cases, so obviously nothing is being done to them. And i have reported some of these racists and magically my account gets suspended. White racism is condoned in Y/A but Black person says one thing and they're gone. It's clear that Y/A employees are behind these white racist accounts because they aren't being suspended like we are.
And it's also interesting because anyone involved with YahooGroups knows that the second anyone complains about a group owner, their group is deleted and their yahoo name is deleted. But here they just ignore white racism. And as bad as it is, the worse part is the lack of consistancy. Either punish ALL racism equally or let everyone say what they want. Don't single out one race to punish. This is a great question.

Fa shizzle. I asked if crack or airplane glue would kill a person quicker and it dont get posted. Some hate monger spews out questions about gays or minorities and it does get posted. But, whatcha going do? What can we do about it?

yeah i think you're right. Racistism is everywhere. Especially in America where they're are alot of different races. You should right something to the people of Yahoo Answers. Maybe one of them isnt a racist, ignorant jerk and will hear you out.

RACIST white people are the worse (though lots are nice and okay im just talking bout the racist one) They can get there way because of who they are and use it to make everone else life worse. They should wake up and see all of humanity as equal. It's sad that there children will grow up to be like them and see the world like that too. This cycle needs to stop!!
