Me, in a Louis Vuitton store.
From a Christian viewpoint lust means any intense desire or craving for self gratification. In the event of sexual lust, the other person becomes objectified as a "means to an end" for the fulfillment of the subject's desires.

Lust is the opposite of love. It is a type of hatred which comes from a divided heart, a heart not in love with God. Love is gently, kind, humble, meek, not self-seeking, and patient. Lust is harsh, selfish, envious, etc.

Ultimately, I believe the metaphysics of lust has to do with idolatry -- worshipping created things and not the Creator. When we are deprived of the only true relationship - the relationship with God, we seek out other forms of relationship with created things. When these relationships are not empowered by the love of God, they become lustful. Even if the "relationship" is to money, power, posessions, etc.

Lust is an attempt to fill the God-void with idols.

Well isn't lust wanting someone in a sexual view?

Even thinking about someone in a sexual manner is lust.
It would be considered a sin because your mind isn't completely pure due to these sexually dirty thoughts.

I haven't been in church long, I've been going since elementary about 6 years ago when we do babyish things.

Lust is a very strong physical and mental attraction.

It's really nice to pursue--if you're not married to someone else.

Lust is an uncontrollable desire for something. Usually we think of it in the sexual realm, but it can be for "things". Another way to describe it is to covet.

Lust is to want and yearn for something or someone. It is unhealthy to want that much. I don't want my neighbor lusting after my husband. I don't want to lust after anyone or anything. It causes marital, and other problems.

Law is "both good and evil" ends with "evil".
Another law makes ppl feel "wretched" after,
which is how PTSD ppl say they feel after war.

The grace(only) of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Blunt? ok...

Lust is the physical need for sexual orientation, which revolves only upon vanity. Not love.
