He doesn't sin right? What about the non-child molesting priests? I dont' think they sin. Or even nuns, they have no sins. So why aren't they considered "perfect"?

No.

Neither the Pope, priests, or nuns are considered perfect. They are considered forgiven sinners just like you and me.

+ Papal Infallibility +

The Catholic Church teaches that the Pope is infallible at closely defined times.

The Pope is only infallible when he, in union with the body of bishops, solemnly teaches that a doctrine as true. This is called "ex cathedra", literally meaning in Latin "from the chair".

This comes from the words of Jesus to Peter (the first Pope) and the Apostles (the first bishops), "Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven" (Matthew 18:18) and "He who hears you hears me" (Luke 10:16).

At all other times the Pope can be just as wrong or sinful as you and me and be in need of forgiveness.

With love in Christ.

a individual is going by an extremely inflexible technique to grow to be a saint. in basic terms: A Vatican committee investigates your existence thouroughly to work out in case you have lived your faith in an exemplary style. There should be stable evidence of miracles additionally. once you bypass the 1st set of standards, you're " beautified" and earn the call of "blessed". there is greater effective standards to be met and larger study. in case you bypass that portion of the technique, you're canonized a saint. The Catholic Church is particularly careful approximately who will become a saint. they often wait 5 years after somebody dies before beginning the technique to make particular that the emotionalism and grief following a individual's dying isn't a element. some popes have not been able to fulfill all standards, hence, do no longer grow to be saints. perfect now the church is thinking 2 familiar catholics for sainthood, Pope John Paul II and mom Teresa. in my view, i think of Teresa became a saint whether she will become an respected one or no longer.

Of course the pope is a sinner. I am a sinner, and if you say you don't sin, you are lying. The priest are not special, they are mere servents. If any one tells you they don't sin, move away from them.

Simply because they ARE human and they DO sin.
No one is perfect...we are all flawed.
We ALL sin and fall short of the Glory Of Almighty God.

They aren't perfect. No matter how "good" a human is we all fall short. Thoughts are judged by God as well.
