Likewise, according to the publication bearing it's name, the reasoning behind THE WATCHTOWER's figurative name is that it "takes an over-all view and is farsighted enough to peer into the future, by use of recorded inspired prophecy. It views modern conditions and events in the light of God’s Word...and (is) quick to declare His truths and judgements."

Many take the seriousness of what the Bible says as a joke, its not, JW's just want to discuss the Bible with people, you can't join, we don't recruit, we conduct instructive Bible studies with persons who are serious about learning what the Bible really teaches, not what is portrayed in the world by "Christendom"

They watch as time goes by, and the masses of humans ignore their calls to repent and get saved. Eventually, they will watch as Jehovah God, executes his justice, and they are allowed to walk into life on the new earth free from thsoe who have no desire to know or please God.
At this point the Bible says, even they will be astonished at the absence of people causing problems on the earth.

Our brothers watch for us while we tend to the everyday things. They will let us know if any of you pops his head up...lol..just kidding.
Lots can be seen from a higher vantage point. Jesus used to sit on the Mt of Olives to talk to his disciples about spiritual things.
