I was just curious... I get the feeling that there's only a microscopic amount of christian abortion doctors...

However, I would be willing to bet that most abortion doctors are atheist.

I'm also sure that they can't wait to throw babies into the fires of the crematoriums by the bushels at that... all the while they are wearing a big sh*t eatting grin on their face...

but if anyone has any solid stats... let me know

Where do I begin.....?
1. there are no doctors who spend 8-10 hours a day preforming abortions! These doctors are the same ones who take care of other womanly issues, such as childbirth!
2. You paint the picture of a laughing doctor throwing live, fully functioning babies into a furnace. What a sick imagination you have.
3. Atheists are not evil, they just doubt, or question the existence of a god. Read the bible and look around you. the death and destruction going on in the world says that if there is a god, it is he who is evil. while the bible constantly has god either killing innocent LIVING babies, or demanding that his people do it in his name. THAT is truly evil.
4. how many babies in a bushel?
5. So you would rather force a woman to carry a child to term, even if she is sick, unable to raise the child, in a life threatening situation (abusive spouse, parent) if a baby were to get involved, without health insurance, or just not wanting it, leading to neglect?
6. 20% of American doctors are Hindu. Other than that they fall into the same percentage, roughly, as the rest of society. 10% atheist, 8% gay.

So basically, what you're saying is that atheists, all of them, are evil, and want to burn babies alive, and smile at it?

You are one twisted little child.

Well clearly from your question, you don't even know what an abortion is, and are biased against atheists. I don't know what religion you are, but I hope someday, you realize what a judgmental, terrible, person you are.

The only two religions that exist are atheism and christianity? What about all the thousands of religions out there?

First of all, relatively few doctors who do perform abortions are strictly abortion doctors or doctors who specialize in abortions. Many different kinds of doctors are capable of performing abortions and might do it in "emergencies."

Also bare in mind that many denominations of Christianity do support abortion rights.

Having said all that, I really doubt there's much data collected on that. Imagine writing a grant for that -- who would pay for it?

There are many Christian doctors who perform abortions and there are many Atheists who are pro-life. Does is bother you that Christians kill innocent cilvilians during a time of war or perform executions?

Many people who claim to be followers of Christ believe things and practice things that go against His teachings.
... evolution, homosexuality, pre-marital sex, pornography, praying to the dead, divorce, etc.
Why would abortion be different?

I have never had an abortion and I would never have an abortion but my guess would be that a true Christian could never become an abortion Dr.

Under the spoken word of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. "Judge thee not; lest thee be judged", so I am sure they are all true Christians. (Let he is without sin, cast the first stone).

I'd think most would have to be atheist also, I'd think it would get to a Christian doctor pretty quick.

Don't know. But I think you're right. Many Christians are against it (including me). But you might be surprised at the number of Christians who support it. It's kind of strange and contradictory.
