Is there any proof that it does exsist? How did the world start then? what's this about evloution? I believe the world started with the 'big bang', what do you think? If there really were a god, i think the world would be a better place than it is now, so why pray every night for a mircale that isn't going to happen?

Believing in god just depends on yourself ... but what if there's a god ? I can't prove he exists but you can't prove he doesn't exist either .

Does god really exist? Yes

Is there any proof that it does exsist? All around you

How did the world start then? Big bang why not

what's this about evloution? What about it? it could be, they can both be true. maybe on more a a minor scale.

I believe the world started with the 'big bang', what do you think? I think, We will never know, But It was formed somehow. "Big Bang works"

If there really were a god, i think the world would be a better place than it is now, so why pray every night for a mircale that isn't going to happen? Ok, now is this a fair question? If it wasn't going to happen, why would someone pray.. they must think it will happen.. And not all people pray to have things happen.. Any If there is a god, and "it" gave us free will, and we wake the place a mess, why would you blame "it" for the shape the world is in?

Well, if you look around, there will be no doubt that the 'big bang theory,' nor evolution even makes sense. Look at the beautiful mountains, the sunrises/sunsets, all the different animals, if you've ever been snorkeling you've seen the most beautiful colored fish ever and so many kinds. No way did these things just 'happen.' God created the world we live in!!!! He made the sun, moon and the stars also!! He knows all the stars by name!!

The reason the world is this way is because that's the way the bible said it'd be. Everything the bible has predicted ahead of time has come true. You cannot find ONE thing in the bible that's wrong. No one can, even though they act like they can. God's word (bible) is perfect, just as He is. All of the prophecies have been filled as of now...just as the bible said...and the next big event will be the rapture (when the reborn people will be taken to heaven). Only GOD can do something like that!!!!! If you would like to talk, you can feel free to email me!!!

I love God. He is my Father, my Maker, my Rock, my Fortress, Alpha and Omega, and the Great I Am, along with many other names. He is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes there is proof, it is all around you. Do you really truly think that we are a result of evolution. Just look at one tiny part of our bodies - the eye. It is an incredible organ. Could something with no eyes, one day develop an eye. That is what evolutionists would have you believe.
They would have you believe that if you put all the right ingredients together, mix them up, you will create life - that is how they say life started.
If this was true, you should be able to put all the parts of a car into a big mixer, keep mixing them and one day (maybe a billion years or so) they would fall together and form a motor car. No chance.
God does exist. It is we who do not understand who or what God is. I hope that one day we will all find out - that will be the miracle.

No, there is not a god. There is no convincing evidence.

Some of the people here have affirmed their belief in a god and their reasons. Somebody has given a long and supposedly reasoned proof which is, quite frankly, silly. Some simply say that you should just believe and accept what you are told.

So your position depends upon what sort of person you are. If you are rational and prepared to consider the arguments for and against the belief in god you need to take your time and read around a bit before reaching your own conclusion.

If you prefer just to trust other people's judgement, then you are just making a leap of faith either way, but whatever you decide upon it will be for the wrong reasons.

God does not exist. He exists only in our minds. It is not possible to prove the existence of God scientifically. His existence is based on belief not on proof. A person can believe in God, Angels, Jinn (Genie) but if he wants me to believe I would require scientific proof.

Theists say you do not see Oxygen but you believe in it. Why not believe in God? Oxygen can be measured through Physics, Chemistry but the existence of God cannot. The Big Bang theory says that the Universe is expanding. Supernovas are exploding too. True Universe is vast and infinite but it has nothing to do with God's will.

I don't think God has an impact in our daily life. Belief in God is just a figment of human imagination. To me praying every night to God does not help. It is just a waste of time.

This answer goes on from where F*O*X*T*R*O*T left off...
I agree completely with that answer, so to add to it...

(Romans 1:18-22) “. . .For God’s wrath is being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who are suppressing the truth in an unrighteous way, 19 because what may be known about God is manifest among them, for God made it manifest to them. 20 For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable; 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God nor did they thank him, but they became empty-headed in their reasonings and their unintelligent heart became darkened. 22 Although asserting they were wise, they became foolish”

As for the world being a better place, check out who the ruler of the world is right now...

(1 John 5:19) “. . .the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.”

(2 Corinthians 4:3-4) “3 If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.”

(1 John 2:15-17) “. . .Do not be loving either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16 because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17 Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.”

This world will be a better place soon, because the Bible teaches that there will be a new ruler over the earth, and his rulership will last forever...and those ruining the earth will come to nothing...

(Revelation 11:18) “. . .But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.””

(Daniel 2:44) “. . .“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;”

(Psalm 72:8) “. . .And he will have subjects from sea to sea And from the River to the ends of the earth.”

(Psalm 37:9-11) “. . .For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” 29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it".

Yes, but so does Odin, Thor, Dana, Isis, and all the rest. Yahweh's not unique, the Creator, or all powerful.
I don't care about proof or proving it to anyone, make up your own mind.
I don't know how the world started and I'm not sure it makes any difference. Man made the gods. They do have power and influence, but we created their form and personalities.
'Big Bang' is theory on how Universe started, not the World. I think it's the best theory about such things we have AT THIS POINT, but I'll bet you real money that theory will continue to be altered by new findings so that it's almost a different thing entirely within a 200 year period. We just don't know enough, in my opinion, to be theorizing on how the freaking universe was formed. I generally pray for more beer.

God isn't what most people think. God is the point of origin for the spark of life, for all thought, and for all natural processes. God is not some spiritual figure on high whose desires and needs have been interpreted by flawed human beings over 2,000 years in books they've revised to fit current beliefs. God is ever present and is in every living cell throughout the universe. Religion has been humanity's greatest mistake.

God made the world. Miracles happen, but fewer people are living for God than ever before. He takes care of His own. The big bang is impossible. How do you explain human existence? Matter can neither be created nor destroyed according to science. And life cannot spontaneously appear. The answer to all things is God.
