Why would people believe in something that men were forced to sit down and write, knowing that if they didn't agree upon ideas, they would all die by the hand of King James? Why was the Bible edited into one book?
OOps three questions in one. Do you have the answer to at least one of them??

I think we should. When I look at schools today with all their myriad problems (underfunding, school shootings, violence, racism, gang beatings, low achievement, undertrained teachers, overworked teachers, teachers who don't care, etc.) I think maybe a little faith is just what a lot of kids need, and it could potentially help a lot of people. I suggest three prayers a day.

First off, we start the day off with a prayer to Odin, for the ability and open-mindedness to learn our lessons well and attain knowledge and wisdom.

Second, we pray to Frey and Freya at lunch and thank them for a bountiful harvest. Thank them that we have food to eat even though we may not personally be farmers who go out and work in the fields, and let them know that we appreciate their gifts.

Finally, at the end of the day, we finish up with a prayer to Thor to protect our children as they go their various ways to their homes at night, so that they may come back safely the next day for more learning.

It seems people only ask religious questions which are always negative and fostering resentment. Does this mean that none of you people have any spiritual essense within you, only malice and hatred for others. It only shows how sad this world has become when a spiritual religious section is nothing more than a slagging match. So use your brains please and ask some deep questions if you are not to shallow.

Hi - I work in an office above a barber's shop and the floor is very thin. The barber listens to his music very loud and it has a repetitive beat, which vibrates through the floor and my desk and into my head, making it near impossible to concentrate. It goes on all day and he often repeats the same songs, sometimes he sings along.

I love my job but it's making me so miserable, most days I put up with it but when I'm tired and have a lot to do I don't see why I should. I asked him to turn it down once before but it only lasted ten minutes and the men that work here seem to think he's a wonderful guy, so won't back me up (they don't have to work directly over his shop). No-one seems to understand and I'm at the end of my tether.

Any suggestions as to how I can persuade him or get my revenge??? I'd love to cut his power off but can't work out how. I'm not lowering myself to any sort of bribing.

Its like your mind is in a fog or is asleep. You feel like you are close to an epiphany or some sort of revelation. You don't know what it is or anything but you feel that it is so close that it will change your life.

It creates a sort of anxiousness within you, an excitement.

I gets worse when I'm outside. Dunno - I'm just a weirdo I guess.

Mary had a little lamb,
His fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere the children went,
The Lamb was sure to go.

He followed them to school each day,
Twasn't even in the rule.
It made the children laugh and play.
To have the Lamb at school.

And then the rules all changed one day,
Illegal it became;
To bring the Lamb of God to school,
Or even speak his Name.

Everyday got worse and worse,
And days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh,
We heard gun shots and tears.

What must we do to stop the crime,
That's in our schools today?
Let's let the Lamb come back to school,
And teach our kids to pray!

Research begun in 1987 exposed a series of 'half-truths' that were attacking the traditional family unit.

The 'virus' had corrupted 'protective cells' within certain systemic agencies, (Children's Aid Societies, and Women's Centers).

The logic used was one often associated with mental illness, whereby 'black and white' generalized logic was used to divide the unit, the family unit.

In particular the isolated of women, totally ignoring motherhood, husbands, fathers, children and more was key to this corruption...

Why has this error in human logic not been exposed as of yet ?

Can anyone tell me if this is true if you are non-believer and you want to marry a catholic you are required to go to a 6 week course to learn about their religion? Is it scary? Is it true that you have to promise that you will raise your children as Catholics? Do they really only eat fish on Friday’s and don't practice safe sex because of not believing in birth control?

If the best people of a culture become terrorists do they need shock treatment? A Hiroshima/Nagasaki double punch would instill reason in them?

Honestly, I find that I am at least two levels above most of the people I meet in this god forsaken country. Very uncooth this lot.

My wife is a banal woman and my mistress is a Korean temptress who has led me to sin.

God bless me and good luck to you.

Well it seems terrorists know no bounds. With the news that the recent terror attacks over the weekend were carried out by doctors, I think we should ask ourselves is this a one off or the tip of the ice-berg. If a person who has studied and trained for the best part of a decade can simply throw it all away for religion, then should we be questioning whose hands we put our lives into. How many British patients has that neurologist treated and operated on over his career, scarey thought. Before the online PC soldiers start, I know Harold Shipman was a white Christian, but he was an evil madman, not on a religious crusade. I wouldn't dream of saying all Muslim doctors should be struck off the GMC register, but would it be so wrong to have doubts if your care was placed in the hands of someone who may despise this country and everyone in it.

Oh and don't bother with the racist accusations because I don't think the questions is at all racist.

Hello, I am from Europe and over my life, I have travelled to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines, USA, many european countries: non-white people tend to say that USA are racist or Germany, but it is nothing compared to India.
Apart from blatant acts of racism, the worse aspect is that racism is not fought against in India!! It is admitted and most of the people show racism on a daily basis, which would not be tolerated in Europe or other developed country (the media would investigate, the people responsible for racist actions would be punished, etc).
People need be aware that the worse are NOT necessarily the most powerful (USA). And if a non-indian goes to India, be ready to be treated as the worse of the untouchables! (by the way, it is interesting to note that the Indians are not even annoyed to be famous for that despicable social organization which would be decried in any other country!!).
