"Quantum Spirituality"?

2007-07-02 02:09:28 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 1

Matter/energy equivalence and Big Bang theories are irrelevant since they deal with the expression rather than the Source, and I'm guessing you just made up "quantum Spirituality". However, Quantum physics is getting very close to noticing that Consciousness is the source of physicality. This conclusion would mark the end of the scientific process of theory and validation.

Actually, I was thinking about founding the Panecumenic Church of Quantum Probability the other day.

I need someone with a PhD in physics to work out the math, but I'm sure that by taking a quantum theory approach you can prove all religions (including quasi-religious atheism) are true, just not all at the same time.

Do you know what e=mc² actually means? Its a measure of the equivalence between mass and energy; in words, it is energy = mass x speed on light in a vacuum².

If we take a god to be a spiritual being, (s)he has no mass because they don't exist in this plane. So we now have energy = 0 x 299,792,458². And, no matter how high a number you times 0 by, you still end up with 0.

So your god has no energy and no mass.

Of course, this is pure crap (well, that is what the formula's about) - you can't use it to prove or disprove the existence of a god.

No. Try taking real quantum physics courses. I have and that is a small part of the reason I am an atheist.

There is nothing in quantum physics that suggests a god. That is why so many of the researchers are atheists.

Nope but it will prove once and for all that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the true creator of all.

Do you have a hypothesis for this. I know someone who is doing research on this.
