Honestly, I find that I am at least two levels above most of the people I meet in this god forsaken country. Very uncooth this lot.

My wife is a banal woman and my mistress is a Korean temptress who has led me to sin.

God bless me and good luck to you.

I can knight you. I am, after all, a Goddess. That's got to rank at least a couple levels beyond Queen...

Elizabeth II has knighted numerous Americans for their service presumably to humanity, including

*George Herbert Walker Bush ("Daddy Bush")
*Allistar Cooke
*Dwight Eisenhower
*Bill Gates
*Lou Gersher (IBM CEO)
*Bob Hope (a Naturalized US citizen, born in England)
*Ronald Reagan
*Norman Schwarzkopf
*Steven Spielburg
*Casper Weinburger

So if you invent a better mousetrap, quell a major uprising in a Middle Eastern country, or produce and direct a slew of blockbuster movies, an honorary knighthood is a little like icing on the cake. You just can't allow anyone refer to you as "Sir Kermit"!

Are you really that stupid or is this just a troll?

Knighthood can ONLY be bestowed by a Royal and can NOT be given to an American... just a citizen of whatever country the Monarch is the head of ... and, other than for King George Bush 1st... AmeriKa doesn't HAVE a Monarchy

Should an American citizen receive an honor as Knighthood, the U.S. Constitution forbids him/her from using the title as "Sir" or "Dame". It would have to be strictly an honorary title.

Unless you're a 'Head of State' you cannot. BTW..unless you are a British subject, any honours bestowed by the Queen are 'honorary' and you may not use the title 'Sir.'

You will find as you travel the world that as an American you are Superior to other people.

It's something in our culture that just makes us better than others.
Maybe we should bomb france and fix them like we are doing with the arabs..

Sorry, you'll have to talk to King George for that.

And I personally would not trust that man with a sword anywhere near my head.

There is a procedure for knighting oneself in America, but it can only be done at night.
