Its like your mind is in a fog or is asleep. You feel like you are close to an epiphany or some sort of revelation. You don't know what it is or anything but you feel that it is so close that it will change your life.
It creates a sort of anxiousness within you, an excitement.
I gets worse when I'm outside. Dunno - I'm just a weirdo I guess.

I've spent many nights outside on the swing till 2 or 3 in the morning lately. When your mind is working on something big (even subconsciously) it is unsettling, exciting, and a even bit confusing. Sensation and awareness switch from heightened to numb for me lately.
Perhaps you are a weirdo, but you are in good company.

NO! You're not a weirdo! Your question excites me, I've felt the same way myself. I actually wrote two poems about it, right after two different times that it happened. I felt as though ALL of the mysteries of the universe were about to be revealed to me, but before I could get ahold of them, they slipped away.
I still feel that way all the time, usually in the moments that I'm floating between being awake and asleep. But I've had moments like that when gazing into a night sky turned purple by lightning, watching the sun set or rise, smelling the air after a heavy rain, walking through woods...
So no, you're not weird. Unless I'm weird too. Which is entirely possible.

I am on the verge of awakening right now. My coffee pot has a mind of its own and decided to drip s l o w l y this morning. When it gets done I will awaken.

Yes I have been like that...and then, I awoke! It is quite exciting once you wake up because you can never NOT SEE clearly again.
