1. Love.
"Jesus too gives way to tears",
"see the affection he used to have for him"

2. Because he carefully imitated his heavenly Father, Jehovah; Jesus was the greatest man who ever lived.
As a faithful Son, Jesus copied his Father so exactly that he could tell his followers: "He that has seen me has seen the Father also." (John 14:9,10) In every situation here on earth, he did just as his Father, Almighty God, would have done.
"I do nothing of my own initiative," Jesus explained, "but just as the Father taught me I speak these things." (John 8:28) So when we study the life of Jesus Christ, we are, in effect, obtaining a clear picture of just what God is like.
Thus, even though the apostle John acknowledged that "no man has seen God," he could still write that "God is love." (John 1:18; 1John 4:8) John could do this because he knew God's love through what he saw in Jesus, who was the perfect reflection of his Father.
Jesus was compassionate, kind, humble and approachable. The weak and downtrodden felt comfortable with him, as did ppl of all kinds--men,women,children, the rich, the poor, the powerful, even gross sinners.
Only those with wicked hearts did not like him.
Indeed, Jesus did not merely teach his followers to love
1 another, but he showed them how. "Just as I have loved you," he said "you also [should] love 1 another." (John 13:34) Knowing "the love of the Christ," explained 1 of his apostles, "surpasses knowledge." (Eph. 3:19)
Yes, the love Christ demonstrated ascends above academic knowledge and "compels" others to respond to it.(2Cor. 5:14)
Thus, Jesus' surpassing example of love, in particular, is what made him the greatest man who ever lived. His love has touched the hearts of millions through the centuries and has influenced their lives for the good.

Yet, some may object: 'Look at all the crimes that have been committed in the name of Christ---the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the wars that have seen millions who claim
to be Christian kill one another on opposing battle lines.'
But, the truth is, these ppl belie their claim to be followers of Jesus. His teachings and way of life condemn their actions. Even a Hindu, Mohandas Gandhi, was moved to say: ' I love Christ, but I despise Christians because they do not live as Christ lived.'

My own:
Are there any Christians today;
Who Do Not Go To War?
Will Not Kill His Own Brother?
I know!! I know!!......
Jehovah's Witness'

Because Jesus was fully human, fully God. When He was on earth, He had the exact same emotions that we did. He loved Lazarus, and He was sad when he died, just like you would be sad if a good friend of yours died. Jesus resurrected Lazarus so that others could see the miracle and believe in Him.....therefore, the DEATH of Lazarus glorified God. It's a wonderful example of how God can be glorified through a bad situation like death or suffering.

Lazarus means-- God has helped
Jesus had a deep love for this family living at Bethany about 2 miles from Jerusalem.
Lazarus' sisters sent word to Jesus that he was very sick.

They possible hoped that Jesus would cure him. Instead of going to Lazarus Jesus stayed where he was for two more days. When Jesus got to Bethany Lazarus was dead. Martha was distraught so Jesus took this occasion to teach about the resurrection. But when he saw Mary crying and the Jews with her crying he groaned in the spirit and became troubled.

Jesus went to the tomb, had the stone moved and prayed to his father.
Jesus showed that the forthcoming miracle was "in order that they might believe that you sent me forth".
Jesus then called to Lazarus and he came forth.

Well, he cried... but there is some doubt as to exactly WHY he cried. Was it for Lazarus? Doubtful since he knew he was about to be alive again. Was it for the grief that others were going through; their pain of loss? Maybe. Was it because of their unbelief demonstrated by their lack of hope? Maybe.

Yes, Jesus was a very approachable and "real" person. The common people flocked to Him.

Jesus cried, just like any other human would. Even knowing he was going to raise him from the dead. His emotions still showed us it's fine to cry at the loss of a loved one.

He has the same quilities as his Father, Jehovah God. Love being the most important one.

Indeed!
Yeshua was meek.
Compassionate.
Serious
Focased
His miracles obviously drew many unto HIM....
HE had a mission and on a basic human level, people SAW that indeed!
HE had the attitude of a servant, yet rose up ONLY in Righteous indignation at the moneychangers in the Temple.
HE was submissive, kind, LOVING, intimate with His disciples, as only in HOLINESS, that is.

BUT!
THE NUMBER ONE REASON that those who "WERE" drawn to Yeshua haMashiach, is that the Father first drew their spirit unto Yeshua BY THE RUACH HAKODESH aka THE HOLY SPIRIT!

All Jews of this time, awaited anxiously the MESSIAH so as to free them from the Roman bondage....oppression, ect. The Gentiles TOO, were drawn because Yeshua was (IS) the New COVENANT....HE came to graft the Gentiles in, and stir up some love inspired jealousy in the Jews. JESUS (Yeshua)..healed and fed and served the Gentiles and Jews both.....

Isaiah 53 proclaims that HE had no outward appearance (aka good looking, so-to-speak) that we should be drawn to HIM.......but there is something MOST AWESOME that rises up in my spirit, when I imagine GOD MOST HOLY; simply walking AMONG US...oooooh baby! goosebumps! As a mother of four, I likewise can relate to the extreme array of emotions and instances where Mary must have been simply overJOYed that she carried, gave birth to, and reared....GOD!

The Holy Spirit ultimately. Then a close 2nd would be His overall GREAT GUY full of compassion, attitude and way of BEING, those are what drew ppl unto YESHUA our SAVIOR!
YHVH BLESS YOU!!!~ Thank u for asking this question; not many ppl focus on these types of questions here in R&S//// It is REFRESHINGLY "POSITIVE"! amen.

love and compassion. Jesus always placed Himself among the people who were downtrodden, hopeless and hurting. He came to help and love. Not to condemn.

He cried. He displayed righteous anger at the money changers desecrating the temple.

Jesus: "division" and not peace: Mt 10:34; Lk 12:51
Lazarus died twice, and is still dead cause of Jesus
Abraham's boosom isn't merciful, but dividead

Jesus: as Son of Man(should repent) is VENGE-FULL;
and if he comes again, it's with Noahic and Sodomic
DESTRUCTION for them all, of left/right them vs them.

Jesus: as Son of God is notably only high, of high/higher
Christ: as Son of God is notably higher, and not divided

Jesus: Son of God of war(division) and not peace
Christ: Son of God of peace and not dividead

Compare-i-Son?
Jesus: made under the law...awful lawful & alienating
Christ: is the end of the law...grace us & reconciling

Jesus: as Saviour is Saviour of Israel only, not the world.
Christ: as Saviour is Saviour of the world, not some only.

Let's Move On, THROUGH Jesus-->Christ-->God-ward.
It's now 2007 AD--->only goes one way, unto end written:

The grace(only) of our Lord Jesus-->Christ with you all. Amen.
