There was an interesting real example of this not far from where I live. A pagan group had organized a weekend-long festival at the VFW hall in a small town out in the countryside. When the Religious Right in the nearby big town found out, all sorts of wailing and protesting and gnashing of teeth took place. To his credit, the leader of the VFW post said "We fought and died in our country's wars so that people could be free, and that includes the right of these people to use our hall for their festival." That pretty much shut everyone up and the party went on!

The 1st Amendment guarantees them freedom of religion. I was taught to not make fun of other peoples beliefs. So no I wouldn't interfere in any way. I have some pagan friends. They are good people. We just don't discuss religion.
A few years ago a Neo-Nazi group wanted to have a parade in a majority Jewish town. The towns people wanted to stop them from having their rally. A judge ruled that they had a right to peacefully assemble. He also stated the day we don't allow some group like this to assemble is the day we lose the freedom some have fought and died for.

I am not a christian. I am not really an "anything". I read my tarot cards and practice numerology. I would go to support the festival and/or parade. I may meet someone who can teach me more about things I know little about. I support many different causes that differ from my own opinions. Shoot, I even vote every time I can. And yes, I so think Mickey Mouse would be a good canidate for president. I voted for him last time with Donald Duck for vice.

Nope, sure wouldn't. See my answer to Deke's question about atheist pride festivals/parades. The same answer applies here.

I would not protest it because everyone has the right to believe what they want. Not to say that they are right in what they believe, but we do as humans have free will to believe what we wish. Besides, if i were to protest their celebration, i would have to be ok with htem then later protesting a christian celebration

Exactly like the atheist parade, I wouldn't protest it, I'd go check it out, and probably learn a bit in the process. I bet the pagans throw a helluva good parade, too.

when they see their myth as a conglomerate of pagan stories and legends into one ( see Pagan Origins of the Christ Myth)
they may not be so ready to pluck out the mote in your eye until they remove the beam in their own first

I'm not Christian, but I had to answer anyway. I would most certainly NOT protest it, I'd want to take part in it! :-) I'd be thrilled if such an activity took place in my town.

Where I live, it would have to be a Christian pride parade!
But no, I wouldn't protest their right to be prideful.
