If God created me with a mind that simply cannot logically conclude that He exists, how can he punish me for not believing in Him? He created me this way, it's entrapment!

Or that we were maybe placed on this planet as some kind of evolutionary experiment the first scenario is good from an evolutionists point of view. But how many creationists believe in the second scenario (if any).

Have you seen the laying on of hands in healing?
Have you see sick people raise up and walk?
Do you have faith enough to stand up and say you believe the whole complete words of Jesus? therefore you should have his power also.
Dose everything spiritual need to be biblical based?
Can you read the bible and not follow it?
do you believe everything you preacher says or do you read the bible yourself?
Can you back up every thing you believe up verses and chapters in the bible?
Or are you just follow the foot prints of another who maynot be walk according to the bible?
The reason why I wrote this question is because on some of my question I get people saying it is not biblical based and nothing more-if you feel it is wrong then show why or are you afraid to voice in more details? To some people who are seeking answers read others just to see what they think . My thing is you have a right to disagree as long as you point out more then one simple word of
That is not biblical.

Christians are against abortion because it goes against God's will by causing babies to die sooner, even if the babies will go to heaven after the abortion. They do not support abortion because only God is supposed to decide when it is a persons time to die. Christians support a cure for cancer though, since it helps people live longer and because that is God's will.

So to sum up, abortion is bad because it goes against God's ability to decide when someone should die, and a cure for cancer is good.

Am I understanding it correctly? I understand I have already asked some questions on the subject but I just want to make sure I am clear on the issue.

I'm 15, and I've been bound by temptations for quit awhile.......so I realized one day that I didn't want to sin any more...

so I peel open the Bible a read that "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak"(Mark 14:38) &

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as in common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (1 Cor 10:13)

so I prayed on it, and asked the Lord to take the desire away....... and day by day, I feel myself transforming into what God wants me to be.......now the things that use to be so appealing to me, that was not of God, is disgusting and iritating..

I just thank God, because this is what I want to be..........I want to be more like God, so when the hard trials come, I will be able to overcome it...........

Why is it that I've heard 2 people in the last week say that Catholics aren't Christian? Has anyone else heard this and what are your thoughts on it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Catholics believe in the Holy Trinity, that is to say that they worship God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit as one entity. Furthermore, they do not worship saints as idols, as people have stated here and other places previously. They have "Adoration" for God and "Veneration" for the saints, in other words, they worship God, but hold the saints in very high regard.

Am I wrong on this or are people misinformed?

My birthday is coming up. Problem is, I can't think of anything! See, I don't want a "normal" party; I don't want some big dance with thousands of people I don't know, and I don't want to cop out with a themed costume party or something. I mean, I don't want to be rude, but EVERYONE who's trying to be creative throws a costume party. I want something artsy/indie, something related to MY personality. I've thought about just road-tripping around with my friends, but it turned out to be too expensive because we can't drive and we'd have to take the train. I've also thought about hanging around L.A. and going to some concert. But yeah, I just want something to do that would reflect the artistic side of my personality, my love of film or literature or photography or music or the Beat generation (the whole coffee/open-mic poetry scene). Oh yeah, and I still want the thing to be a party somewhat, so theme ideas aren't completely ruled-out. I just want to make sure my party is unique. Thanks!

"...chimpanzees, too, are capable of altruistic acts and that this appears to be programmed into their genes...In the first experiment, the chimpanzee saw a person unsuccessfully reach through the cage bars for a stick on the other side, too far away for the person but within reach of the ape.

The chimpanzees spontaneously helped the reaching person regardless of whether this yielded a reward or not. When the chimpanzees could see the person making no effort to reach the object, they did not help.

A second experiment was designed to make it much harder to offer help, with the chimps forced to climb 6ft to get the stick. There were no rewards but, again, the animals still helped.

A third piece of research looked at the apes’ willingness to help each other. One chimp was made to watch as a second animal tried to get into a closed room containing food.

The only way it could get in was if the watching animal removed a chain on the door. In each case they did so.

All of the kids at my school say that I am spoiled. Just because, I live in a 4 level house, my bedroom has 2 floors, an ocean view, and it has a kitchen, a little waterfall, a bathroom with a jacuzzi, four closets for my clothes, one closet for purses, 2 closets for my shoes, and one closet for my make-up and sunglasses. And I have 3 cell phones (so they can match my outfits) and I have a 1.5 acre pool and a sauna and I own 2 Range Rovers, 1 mustang convertible, 2 Porsches, and my family owns a 6500 sq. foot yacht. I don't think that I am spoiled. Am I really spoiled?

I promise that I am not lying!

I am perplexed so maybe someone can help me out... Why is it that when John the Divine wrote the Book of Revelations after seeing "visions" and "hearing voices" people put his writing in the Bible and claimed his work to be the "word of God" but when someone from modern times says that they see "visions" or "hear voices" we call them psycho or frauds? I mean, the Bible was written by people who stated that they "heard the word of God". If I or anyone else for that matter claimed to hear God we would be sent to a mental institution. I was raised Catholic and had to go to church a lot. I used to read the Bible and sing the songs but as I got older I realized that a lot of what I was hearing and reading seemed no different then a fairytale. I do believe in a Divine spirit I just don't believe that they wrote the Bible. I believe that men wrote the Bible and it is now used to scare people into submission.
