If God created me with a mind that simply cannot logically conclude that He exists, how can he punish me for not believing in Him? He created me this way, it's entrapment!

I was created with a mind that is capable of doubt, if there is a God, he knows that I'm incapable of accepting things that are intangible, exaggerated and against the laws of the universe. That's how my brain works, how can I be punished for how I am?

Exactly. It makes no sense to create humans with brains capable of reason and doubt, and then burn them forever for it. Why wouldn't he prove his existence rather than have us believe on faith? It's as if he's looking for an excuse to fling souls into hell.

You are somewhat wrong in your logic. God created you with a mind and brain with a capability to search for the truth. God also given you all the directions how to search him, and how to believe him. You can not logically conclude that he exists, because of not searching for God with an open mind. If you study with a pre determined atheist attitude , you will never reach a positive conclusion about God.

Why do you worry ? If there is no God, if dint have to worry at all.

No, it is not entrapment. Everyone was given a measure of faith. Everyone was given a conscience. When you're doing something you know is wrong, He watches to see what choice you make, how you use your free will. God is not human, he is spirit. You're probably one of those people who simply refuse to believe in something you can't touch/taste/see/smell. There is a supernatural world that you refuse to even try to understand. That's your choice. Jesus isn't a myth. There is a lot of documentation about the times of Jesus. Many, many thousands saw and heard Him while He was on earth. Over 500 saw Him after the resurrection. He changed the lives of millions and continues to do so. All are called, few respond. You may be among those who outright refuse to believe. But you will one day. Those of us who choose to believe now can only pray for you, whether you want us to or not.

I t is not logic. He cannot be seen or heard, physically anyway. It is called faith. You had a choice of the blue pants or the black pants this morning. It is the same way with God. You choose to follow or you choose not to. He gave us that ability, and it is the Devil that puts the temptations and "logic" in front of you. Feel free to e-mail me and I will be happy to help you see the way.

If the Christians are right then - yes you can.

If the Jews are right then - you are judged on your character and your actions and not on what you believe (though being Jewish is always nice).

If you don't believe in any of that faith stuff then just be a good person, help others, follow the golden rule, leave a positive legacy, have fun, be the best person you can - and you will be just fine.

Yes he gave you a mind and you have the choice to use it or not... now if you deny the fact that He exists yet i dont think you do because you said how can He punish you... which means you know He exists... so if you dont want to follow Him then YES he can punish you because you know He exists... thats our natural instinct

He created a mind like clay and a blank slate:
- it can be molded however
- just about anything can be written on it

if you can't logically conclude that He exists, not His fault. the mind is moldable.

they jail people for denying the holocaust I hope you know

he gave you a mind that was capable of choosing!
choosing to believe in him (even though you cant see him) or choosing not to...its not entrapment its like telling a child you can run in front of a speeding car or you can not.

if they do obviously they will probably die, if they dont then they wont be harmed.

if you choose to believe in Jesus then you will go to heaven if you choose not to; then you wont. pretty simple

If your mind considers murder to be perfectly fine, are you not still bound by the law? It has nothing to do with your perception of the law, what matters is upholding the law.

there are many who believe just like you, they believe to a point..You do believe God created you that's the first step. Read this Scripture in Mark, it has helped me . Ask Him to help you with your unbelief. Ask Him to prove Himself to you..

Mark 9:24 (King James Version)
24And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
