A loving homosexual couple is apparently an abomination to the Christian god while…

Deuteronomy 21:18-21
18 If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, 19 his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. 20 They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard." 21 Then all the men of his town are to stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid.

Assuming physical determinism trumps everything supernatural, then all human thoughts and behavior have physical determinants that are right here within the physical world. If we could more accurately image the brain, we could see what is going on and what complex processes go into making choices, but based on the elements of biology and environment that impact on us as organisms, it seems unlikely that there is any place for a separate self to exercise "free-will."

Why then is it so difficult to give up the notion of a supernatural force like "free will"?

I asked if abortion was a way to just send babies to Jesus faster and got a few answers saying that "only God can decide when it is a person's time to die." Does this mean that you are against finding a cure for cancer or do you support abortion as a way to send babies to Jesus right away?

Some atheists just reject one more god than others[which represents a tinypercentage of the total since mankind started belief in gods]

What exactly justifies God's behaviour? Would you be okay with your wife becoming pregnant while you were engaged? Couldn't he have planted his seed in a single woman instead?

I got my first hate email! I couldn't understand most of it since it was mostly ***** but it was pretty funny since the nick went a long the lines of Jesus Loves (Not the exact name because I'm not that petty) So does this make me part of a club? I got a good laugh out of it.

If you got a new better job and you know that your current job would just fire ya when you give your 2 weeks notice (just to spite you), would you bother with 2 weeks?

I know that a lady gave her 2 weeks notice, and she told everyone she did that, and management says she was fired.

When my son was in the last week of his life, and in extreme pain, he had one nurse who was very religious and quite judgemental.
She refused to follow doc's orders for pain med. When I complained, she said, "I might put him into a coma he can't come back from. Is THAT what you want?" And I said "So be it. Stop the pain"

She refused, because "Some day I will have to face My God. He will judge me if I kill this man."

Do you think she was morally right in this stance? Is this what you, as a Christian would do with a terminally ill patient? (She reported me to the doctor. "This Mom wants me to kill her son for her.")

In coming here lately- yes I know- Tis Summer and the computer usage is not as high as it was during school time.
But because I have access RIGHT NOW, I will quickly ask a question...

"Though there be giants in the land......?
Can you finish this song?
And #2
"Turn it over to Jesus, Turn it over to Jesus, Turn it over to Jesus and.............?"
Can you finish that song?

Does anyone out there believe in the Rapture? No where is the term "Rapture" mentioned in the Bible. A man named John Nelson Darby popularized the term and a man named Scofield (who Editied something called the Scofield Reference Bible) used the term. Now, I mean no offense to anyone and you are free to believe what you wish, but really... if you do some research you will find that the term "Rapture" is only being used to sell books (i.e. The Left Behind Series). Scofield was a renowned womanizer and smuggler (oh, and a biblical scholar). I know there is scripture about the 2nd coming of Christ and that's great, really, I just wish people would stop taking everything that a televised evangelist or anyone for that matter says as "gospel". I have been watching specials on the book of Revelations and decided to do a little research of my own... Sorry for the rant, thanks for listening.

His conquest took him to the end of the earth, could be south pole, there he met naked people and he built a wall moulded with iron to safeguard them from their enemies.
It is all mentioned in Holy Book Quran chapter 18.

1 John 4:1

Beloved, believe Not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of GOD: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.

NOTE:

And every sprit that confesseth NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of GOD: and this is the spirit of anti christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Wouldn't a young Earth line up with a Creator?

Is that really why we have to try and make it billions of years old?

What about all of the scientific evidence for a young earth?

Can you disprove any of it?

Look at the evidence:

I was listening to a Christian radio show. A caller asked if rejected Jesus would he go to Hell? The hosts said yes. So, he asked if accepting Jesus was the only way to Heaven. When the host said yes, then the caller asked if his rejecting or accepting Jesus, was more powerful then Jesus power to save us. The host didn't know what to say. He finally said to the caller that he was misreading the Bible. But he never explained himself. Was the caller right?

He didn't even bother to tell me til last ngiht and the party is in a week, there will be several stripper and I am very uncomfortable with that.. I used to work with strippers when I was a waitress so I know what goes on and I know its not just with the groom either... I think its wrong to allow a stranger to rub her nude body all over you (and thats just the mild stuff) if you are in a relationship with someone else... He says I'm overreacting but it bothers me that he just blows off my feelings about it..

I remember reading about these kids getting money for something church related (I think that it was the catholic church) after they reached a certian point or something. I think that they called it confirmation or the like?

Is this true or unfounded?
