Someone was telling me that Jesus was gay. I don't believe it, but there was a lot of dude-sweat in the new testament....

I don't think that being gay is anything wrong. You are what you are, and if Jesus was gay, that sort of takes the wind out of a lot of people sails. If he actually had sex with a guy, that might actually change his whole being divine thing, though.

Jews were relgiously segregated into males and females. Men danced with men. Women danced with women. They were not allowed to dance together in the Temple.
And, by the way, you do know Russian men, to this day, still kiss open mouthed. It is a traditional form of greeting.

Why would anyone think that Jesus was gay?
When Pontius Pilate said about Jesus, "Ecce Homo," he didn't mean homosexual. He was just using the Latin word for "Man." (John 19:5, Latin Vulgate)
Jesus was a man, there is no indication in the Scriptures that he was a gay man.

How on earth could a man who was above all sin, sent for the purpose of redeeming us from our sin, who as the proxy of God could have no "concord with darkness" be GAY? There's no way Jesus could've been gay! He simply chose to remain chaste in order to be completely pure of body and spirit in order to be capable of being the complete sacrifice He was intended to be.

Jesus wasn't gay...If he was gay he would know that you don't wear brown sandles with a white loin cloth and a crown of thorns. It's just in bad taste!

Read 1 Corinthians 6:9 and Leviticus 18:22. That will give you an idea of what God thinks about homosexuals.

why would Jesus be something that He said is an ABOMINATION.
He also said the abominable will not enter the kingdom of God, but will enter the 2nd death (hell) that burns w/ fire & brimstone. this is forever.
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
(rev. 21.8)
be careful in your words. they are powerful. scripture says we will have to account for every word out of our mouth.

No he was not. but the culture at the time ment he needed men as his followers as they were more likely to be listened to. there were women as well how helped but they are not metioned as often.
