1 John 4:1

Beloved, believe Not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of GOD: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.

NOTE:

And every sprit that confesseth NOT that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of GOD: and this is the spirit of anti christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Each person has a spirit which returns to God at death. So many people confuse what this means.

Only a person of Christ and a disciple of Christ will declare Christ.

A person that does not declare/confess Christ has a spirit that is not of or in Christ.

In this we know who is Christian or at least declarative of Christ.

But many have come and there are more yet to come that are wolves in sheep's clothing.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Blah, blah, blah.

How do you explain the Catholic Saints that are prayed to? Are they false Gods? Are we worshipping false idols by believing in them?
