If you can find a bible ...read Roman 10:9 it says, If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved.
This just means that you must ask for forgiveness for all of your sin( all you have done wrong) believe in Him and you will be saved. IF you do this you will want him to lead you in life, this is easiest to learn if you join up with like minded people. ie. church. You don't have to go to church to be saved, to have Jesus in your life, but it sure does make it alot easier. Make him your friend, talk with him every day. The more you do it the easier it becomes and the more peace you will have from turning life's problems over to him. Feel free to contact me by email

Christians do you not see the problem with this rapture theory? This person doesn't want to have his sins forgiven. Doesn't want a personal relatinship with Jesus. Doesn't want to be free from the sin of the world. Doesn't want to be free from religious nonsense. This person wants to be in the rapture. Why don't we just preach the Gospel and skip the rapture theory?

The most popular answer to your question would be to accept Jesus as your personal savior. However this does not do justice to the level of commitment required to be pleasing in God's eyes. The bible is very clear about what one must do in order to be saved. Mark 16:16 tells us that one who believes and is baptized will be saved. This is a good start to answer your question but this verse must be coupled together with all other verses discussing our salvation to gain a true understanding of obtaining salvation.
If you would like to discuss this further please feel free to email me.

It is really easy, as easy as the ABC's.
A.) Admit to God you are a sinner.
-Just pray to God and tell Him you are a sinner and you are sorry.
B.) Beleive that Jesus is God's son and that He died on the cross for you to take away your sins
- The Bible says that the wager (or price) of sin is death, but if you accept Jesus as your Savior you don't have to die. You get to live with God and Jesus forever in Heaven.
C.) Confess your faith that Jesus is God's son.
- Tell someone that is a Christian that you have accepted Jesus so that they can rejoice with you, and help keep you on the right path. Also, tell your friends and family thet aren't Christians about him.Help them to see the Light as well.
If you think God is calling you to do this, pray this prayer... Dear God, I know I am a sinner and that if you hadn't sent your son to die in my place, i could not be with you. Lord please come into my heart and take my sins away, so that I will forever be in Heaven with you.
Amen
Easy isn't it. -may God bless-

A man I worked with some years ago got to asking the same questions, over and over again. Eventually he went to one of those evangelist 'crusade' meetings. In his enthusiasm to rush to the front, he tripped on a power cable. He sought rapture, he ended up with a rupture.
