Can we look forward to more Cutts, Benoit and the other guy who recently killed his wife and children?

Their right-wing, hate filled, sensationalistic, end-of-world rhetoric is doing a lot of harm, and turning a lot of people off.

Do you feel these people are truly of God?

-I honestly wonder if they are the anti-Christ that we are warned of.
- They believe they are of God, they believe they are doing God's work...but, they are not truly furthering his kingdom.
-How many people are being turned away from God because of their judgemental, superior attitudes.
-The God I know is one of mercy, love, grace and justice. This doesn't seem to be the one they talk about.

-How do we battle these people when they have co-opted the term Christian to mean only those that believe as they do? They have co-opted our religions, and our trying to run our government.

-Do we ban with non-believers against the vicious uunGodly ways of the fundamentalists?

Your thoughts?

is it possible to be angry with God when you are saved? has any one out there been angry with God after a few months a year a few years or even 10 or 20 years. does any one out there know why this takes place. why and how you(I) can get angry with some one who is always there when i call on him when i hurt when i'm sick when i need some one to listen to me. what do you do, do you tell God (he already knows), do you let it eat at you, do you repent the minute you yell at God because your angry? with all honesty how do you handle this? help some one!!!!!!!

why is it that gays and other people are allowed to bash Christianity and other religions, then when anyone opens their mouth to speak their opinion about homosexuals they get verbally harrassed? Doesn't the 1st Amendment protect out right to "free speech"? then why are we getting that right taken away and homosexuals aren't? shouldn't we have the right to say what we want since others do? what's wrong with society now a days?

...does it really matter if we let gays marry or keep abortion legal? What difference does it make? If the End Times are coming, why are so many churches building enormous, expensive new mega churches?

Hmmmmm....

Everyone had a little bubble on their heads that told their sexuality: Gay, Straight, Bi, None. Its really hard to tell nowadays, and frankly its hard for me to tell now. Especially girls "bad experiences :(".

Do u ever recieve text messages from ppl, like religious messages that say 'forward this message to (insert number) people and ur wishes will come true or u will find happiness etc etc?
I find these texts SO ANNOYING. I received one from a friend just now, and she told me in the message' if you don't forward this to 9 people you will have 9 years bad luck. This was the message:
Al Qayyum, Al Majid, Al Wajid, Al Wahid, Al Ahad, Al Samad, Al Qadir, Al Malik, Al Rehman, Al Rahim, Allah never fails, iss msg ko 9 lougo ko send karain, aap ko kal ek khush khabri milegi, agar aapne inkar kar dia to 9 saal tak bad kimat rahoge ye sabit ho chuka hai, kya aap Allah k liya 9Rs kharch kar saktay hain?
In English - send this msg to 9 ppl and u will receive glad tidings tomorrow, if you don't then u will have 9 years bad luck, this has been prooved. Can you spend the cost of 9 exts for the sake of Allah?

What do u people think of these kinda message?? Do you forward them on or ignore them??

If you think about it, believing in a god is like taking the easy way out. Life is better if you have some one that you can always talk to. Its easier to tell your self that when you die you get to go to a beautiful place, rather then telling your self that life is just over and done with... And if you get what you pray for, you're filled with faith, and you feel that there might just really be some powerful spirit out there that is helping you along your way.
But when you dont believe in any type of god, Life seams to be a bit more challenging. You dont always have some one to talk to, and you feel like your alone alot more then some one who believes in a god.
So now you would ask your self...
Why doesnt everyone just believe in a god?
Well, what if not everyone can lie to themselves?

So wouldnt that mean that it would take a really strong person to be an atheist??

When most people hear about research done about homosexuality and why it is wrong, people just dismiss it saying that is not true.

Now looking at the facts, ones sees that at one side the researcher has bothered himself/herself to spend some of his/her time to do some research about why homosexuality is wrong, but then here comes a h omo supporter and says : oh it is not true and dismisses them all together even with out looking at the facts.
I have posted other postings about this issue but people, who call me close minded or worth, has responded in a close minded way, and instead of answer in a responsible way they just go on dismissing the research information all together.

Well I think it is! What is the point of it. It is sexist and offensive and just an inconvenience to us men. I have no access to the local pool on a Tuesday night because it is 'Ladies night'. Sheesh its 2007 and this is well out dated.

Why not have an over 50s night or an under 20s night - well that would be ageist. Why not have a whites only night or a blacks only night - that would be racist of course. So why does a Ladies night which is both sexist and discriminative to us men become any more acceptable?

It is just farcical in my opinion!

I was even making fun of myself in some of these, and people still got mad.

As Christians, are we not allowed to joke or have fun?

I don't find it insulting. Many times I've heard people say that its rude to ask people what ethnic/race a person is......Im a African-American female. Yes I am light skin. Do you find it insulting when people guess your ethnic/race? I've been mistaken for being half black and half white.

Please no rude answers:
Thank you.

All I know is the man could possibly be from the time of the Civil War (because he's in uniform), and we know nothing about the little girl ghost. I've tried online searching for obituaries for the area we live in but how will I know if it's the right people? For all we know it could possibly not be on record cause the house wasn't probably around then, they could have just died in a field. Any ideas to help me on where to start though? I really want to find out. They don't really seem to even know they're dead! Help!

I am pretty disappointed to hear people mocking the Idea of Paris Hilton finding God. I do not find it funny at all! In fact I find it rather blasphemous. When one says they believe in God and want to make a change in their life we should be happy for them!!! I just can't believe the garbage I am hearing people say about this woman! Yes she made a mistake! Yes she has money! But if she is truly repentent, God will accept her with open arms! This isn't only for people who where raised in church or never make mistakes. (Anyone who thinks they never make mistakes actually is worse off than someone who makes them everyday) She is being made out to be like a murderer when she never killed anyone! I do not understand the way people think today.
