I'm obviously not naive enough or clueless enough to believe that these things only happen in the USA. It is just that I am a US citizen and these crimes are making the headlines here.

I don't know what is wrong but I am sure it will keep happening. There have always been some parents killing the rest of their families. It is not new. Part of the problem is that we have no real resources against it.
My ex has repeatedly told people (his P.O., me, a psychiatrist) that he is going to murder our kids. The most that has been done is a few days in the hospital and then he is released. I can't even get a restraining order because the judge thinks that our kids deserve to know their father. His P.O. doesn't seem to care, the police said it isn't illegal until he tries to do it.
Our kids are way to young to defend themselves and the system has no realistic safeguards. We need to find better methods of prevention-fast.

We had another man here in Louisville, Kentucky who killed almost his whole family (one 16 year old boy is still in critical condition) and killed himself. This stuff is getting out of hand and it is real. Unfortunately this happens all of the time since the beginning of time, it just never had gotten media time. It's sad. And yes, we can look forward for more Cutts, Benoit and others.

I am of the belief that the days of our time here on earth are soon to be ended. Satan and all of the evil spirits are released upon the earth to roam and their job - to steal, kill and destroy the lives of God's people - and those who are not. It is a shame, but unfortunately, these are the things that we can expect and even more to come. The Bible has already predicted that mothers would turn against their daughters and fathers against their sons. The most we can do friend, is to try and show each other love and to pray for one another daily.

I think untreatable depression is a huge problem in America. I also believe that people, men in particular are afraid of the stigma associated with the disease, so they are not being treated, or diagnosed with the problem. They suffer in silence for days, months, and sometimes years. We all have to stand up and take notice of mental diseases and get rid of the negative stigma attached so people can talk openly to the doctors and families.

Mental illness is an illness of global concern. It is an illness that continues to be minimized in all parts of the world. Until it gets the attention it deserves there will continue to be deaths as the end result of its wrath.

Stress, hate, jealousy, stupidity, low education or a horrible character and/or personality, mental illness. By now, you already know it happens all over because almost every one else said so.
