Someone who realizes that the belief in God is based on no evidence and who believes that the current teachings about the different God's cannot be true, based on inconsistencies, lack of evidence and the existence of so many religions.
Most Atheists also understand that religion is a very harmful thing for progress and the human race.

"1) Undecided about the existence of a god(s); "
Not so. An agnostic is an atheist. The term was coined by Thomas Huxley in the 19th century and it means "not knowing". Huxley's view was that you cannot know if gods exist. The term "atheist" is much older than "agnostic" but agnostics are always atheists. An atheist is someone who does not believe in gods. Agnostics don't believe in gods therefore they are atheists but their argument for non belief is that you cannot know the existence of gods.

Agnostic: 1) Undecided about the existence of a god(s); 2) Decided that there is not or will not ever be enough information to decide if there is a god(s); 3) Decided that there may or may not be a god(s) but that it (they) have no effect on our lives.
Agnostic Atheist: Decided that a god(s) seems unlikely but willing to change if there is a major revelation.
Agnostic Theist: 1) Decided that there is a god(s) but undecided as to what form it(they) take; 2) Decided that there is a god(s) but not sure that there will ever be proof of its (their) existence; 3) Decided that there may be a god(s) but unsure whether they have an effect on our lives.
Non-Christian Theist: Decided that there is a god(s) but it is clearly not the christian god. Also, Non-Abrahamic Theist.
Abrahamic/ the god of Abraham: The "one" god of the Jew, Christians, Catholics, and Muslims. To each of the denominations, they see a very different god; to someone who is not a believer, they all look about the same.
ADD to Tentofield, there are MANY kinds:

"atheist" = one who adheres to atheism
"atheism" = "a" + "theism" = "without" + "deity"
So atheism is the lack of belief in any deity. That's ALL the word means.
It does not mean "somebody who doesn't have a religion", nor "somebody who rejects all notions of things metaphysical", even if those additional descriptions apply to many who identify as atheist. Atheists, by definition, simply do not believe in the existence of God (or any other deities for that matter).
