More a matter of interpretation. take precognition. We've all experienced it. But most of us brush it off since it can't be explained interms of a materialistic construct.

It's true. But my boyfriend is a nonbeliever and I grew up with that kind of stuff. My boyfriend and I moved in together a year ago and we had ghost problems really bad for like a week or so. And my boyfriend is really stubborn. And said i'm not having our apartment hauted anymore. He forced himself to stop believing and make up an excuse for what it could be. All of a sudden all the paranormal stuff went away. But every once in awhile I see somthing because I can't force myself not to believe in that stuff because that's how I was raised.

Oh I see things that are "supernatural". I believe in lots of things other people don't. But I don't believe in other things. It's just a personal thing.

Have you ever thought you see things that are supernatural because you're looking too hard?

Its possible, but far more likely the other way
around - people are so busy attributing things
to God because they refuse to believe that
life could have no point and that random things
happen.
Perhaps you mean that we should start
attributing things to the supernatural that we
already have more plebian explanations for?
WHY?
To justify your religion?

uh huh. Have you ever thought that maybe it just isn't there? By its very definition, supernatural would be very self-evident. Yet all we have is vague anecdotal stories, wishful thinking, and a smattering of con-men coupled with gullible idiots.

Seeing isn't always believing. Also to believe is to have hope, or faith that there are greater things in life which there are, just takes time and patience to see the outcome of many things.

Have you ever thought that one's biased expectation to want to see something, can explain why some events are interpreted as "supernatural"?

No, that's not it - it's just that there's nothing supernatural to see (but I'm willing to look at any evidence and potentially change my mind).
You could make the same claim about pixies... do you not see them because you refuse to, or because they're not there?
(Or maybe you do see them...)
