People were dying long before the idea of even burying them, let alone burying them in a special graveyard. Primitive cultures are judged as being human based on what they do with their dead bodies. Those that considered them just garbage to be left to the vultures (let alone anything more ghastly) can hardly be called human.

It's definitely the body. For a long time in history there were no "grave yards". They either just dug shallow graves or even farther back, had tombs. Whats really sad is that in Europe a long time ago, they would just throw all the poor people in one large ditch, if they did not have enough money for a ceremony/coffin.

The body. The boffins interested in evolutions say that early humans didn't bury, hence no graveyard. Plus, doesn't someone have to dig the hole?

Actually the graveyard my friend. Cause if you look back in history...adams son...he saw a bird burying its faeces in the sand...so yeah..well u know that one of adams sons hated the other over women issues...so yeah...he saw the bird and got the idea of a graveyard...so yeah..technically the graveyard.

If the first person was properly planning for his future, then the graveyard would have come first.
