I was even making fun of myself in some of these, and people still got mad.

As Christians, are we not allowed to joke or have fun?

People always seem to enjoy jokes about the pope.

Recently, a rumor circulated around the Vatican that the return of Jesus Christ was imminent, and might come to pass within the next 24 hours.

One of the Cardinals soon approached the pope for advice on how this should be handled.

The pope replied, "Tell everybody to look busy!"

Keep laughing keep telling Jokes BUT remember NOT to hurt anyone and I do believe God loves to laugh also. God Bless you.

Oh BTW The Pastor who helped me become a Christian has a wonderful way with jokes. he also had me laughing all the time. God gave him that gift and he uses it well.

(Prov 17:22 KJV) A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Sometimes I praise God to the point that I get drunk in the Spirit. No drinking involved. laughter can help speed healing.
As long as jokes are clean then I see no problem with them

We absolutely can laugh and tell a joke. It's those who don't laugh or joke that the world looks at and sees us as stiff and uptight. I love laughing at myself and Christian jokes... some people need to remember that God gave us a sense of humor so we should probably use it.

It's okay to tell a joke as long as it is not offensive, and when it is told at the proper time. As Eccl. 3:1 says: "There is a time and a place for everything."

Yes. I love a good joke. Some Christians are just up tight sometimes.

As long as the joke is not blasphemous or cruel to someone else, Christians can make all the jokes they want to, although the bible does caution us to be sober-minded and not to waste our lives on frivolity. It's about keeping your priorities straight and putting Christ first.

1 Timothy 1:11........describes God as the "happy God"

It's okay for christians to be happy and tell jokes and laugh and whatever. Our God want to see us happy. We are a reflection of HIM.
