Righteous judgement is when we are allowed to say...."this is wrong because it is against God"

Keep in mind however, that we are allowed to judge sinfulness...but not the people who commit it. We must love all people even when they do things we do not like. We can however as I said, judge the action.

It means I should try my best to understand; because I can judge nothing I do not understand. Sometimes I do this well and it is a triumph for both of us. Sometimes I do this well and it is something I wish I did not see. Sometimes I do this poorly and it is a funny 'truth'. Sometimes I do this poorly and make an @ss of myself. But I am always willing to consider an appeal. It is the same process I subject myself to - and try to judge the judgment passed on me as well. Going to heaven or hell does not rest within my judgment no matter what I decide about anything for others - I am not even certain that it matters how I judge myself. That is God's decision. MY judgments I question - I trust God's judgments.

This is another interesting question from a person who is thinking.

Let's start by reading

John 7:24

" Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment. "

So it's a commandment to judge a righteous judgment.

What is a righteous judgment?

It's in the verse itself, Judge NOT ACCORDING TO APPEARANCE.

There are people who judge BASED on appearance.

Let's read 1 Samuel 16:7

"But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. "

MAN LOOKETH ON THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE, but he Lord looketh on the heart.

Let's read James 2:1-4

"My brethren, hold not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

For if there come into your synagogue a man with a gold ring, in fine clothing, and there come in also a poor man in vile clothing;

and ye have regard to him that weareth the fine clothing, and say, Sit thou here in a good place; and ye say to the poor man, Stand thou there, or sit under my footstool;

Do ye not make distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? "

Christians are taught to judge a righteous judgment because they will judge the world.

1 Corinthians 6:2

Or know ye not that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? "

When the prophet Samuel was considering each of the sons of Jesse to be the next king, the Lord gave him some guidance on judging.

1Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

To righteously judge, we must learn to judge as God does. In the beginning this can be difficult, but it gets easier as we learn more about God and become more like Him.

Jhn 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

That means that God wants every believer to judge only with the Word of God , which is the truth. If we wouldn't judge anything , we wouldn't know right from wrong.
But we are not to judge others motives by our own standards or opinions. Only God knows a person's motives , He can look into a man's heart, we can't.
