Co-workers who don't pull their own weight leaving the access work for you or someone else to do. I hate those people who want to get paid for doing absolutely nothing and then leave it to someone else to pick up the slack. What do you hate at the office?

If he were to appear here on earth today, do you think that he would dump his wrath on homosexuals or do you think he would stand along side them and help fight for equality? Do you think he would hold the hand of, and comfort a woman who for what ever reasons has to have an abortion or he would stand in front of a clinic picketing like an extremist group?. Do you think rather than be complaining about the consumption of alchohol, he would be sitting having a drink with a friend?
If you look at the passage's in John 8:4 , John 4:7 and Matthew 11:19 , Jesus did not judge or condem anyone infact was quite a cool guy. Does it concern you that fundamentalists are going against the goodness that Jesus did preach?

You know the deal; they say that modern man is so obsessed with the material world that he can never really love a woman with all his heart.
What do you think?
And how about women of our time?

Ex: If you're fearful of hell, you goto hell.
If you're convinced you're going to heaven, goto heaven
If you've resolved to non-existence, it is granted.

What actions of man could truly offend an Almighty? We are nothing in comparison.

OK, so Earl has his list of wrong doings and he's trying to back pedal and undo all the damage he's done, thus levelling his Karma.

But would the big man upstairs take this as a suitable alternative to confessing his sins (he did after all, write them down) and let him into the big swoire?

I think so. The bible talks about a lake of fire in revelation but no one else preached about hell, not Paul or Jesus himself.

What is translated as hell in some cases is an actual place, a garbage dump if you will.

Re 19:20
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.

Re 20:10
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Re 20:14
Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Re 20:15
And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Looks like in Re 20:15 its not forever.

I'm not judging anyone here; I just want to know what the opinions of others are, concerning so much disbelief. Why do so many not believe in God? Does everyone who claims disbelief actually feel there is no God? Or....are they looking for a reason to believe? Does this disbelief sometimes occur because of the conditions in the world?

I am 42. I began to have doubts about Christianity 10 or so yrs ago. No one had answers.I decided that the word Christian locked me into a catagory that I did not agree with. I came here to learn from you and how your belief works for you. Last night I ask an answer and got called a "vapid troll" I assure you I am not. I just need to ask you questions. OK now the question. Do you need to be firmly rooted in your beliefs to fit in on this forum? I have an open heart and mind, I need to find answers. Thank you

Do you believe that a flood covered the whole planet? It not a matter of faith for me, it a matter of who passed on the story. Then again a coworker tried to tell us that dinosaurs were on the ark. I didnt even say a word.

Wont beleive the biblical account of creation. The Bible gives the geneology of Jesus, from Adam, created on the sixth day, to his birth. A period of about 4000 years.
I guess a lot of "Christians" just dont have enough faith in the word of God.

Sometimes I think the whole idea of political correctness is getting a bit out of control. Before I say anything else, I just want to clarify this: I am by no means racist, I am as vehemently opposed to racism as the next person. Saying this though, I think that people should have a sense of humour about the matter as well. Politicians are afraid to say anything which has anything to do with race, creed or colour. And why does is it almost acceptable to make jokes about some cultures, but not others? For example, I'm Irish and if somebody called me a potato-picking bog trotter, I would just laugh and I'm sure 90% of the Irish population would. However, if somebody said something similar to an African or Asian, there would be huge uproar. I am not talking about not standing up against racism, I am merely saying that perhaps people should have a sense of humour and not get offended at the slightest thing.

Maybe I am completely wrong, what do you guys think?

I just moved to PA and have always love to see the Amish people at their daily routine. Their lives seem to be so simple even though they work so HARD. Do you know anything about "the inside Amish" I know they don't speak much about their lives. I'm just interested in knowing more about them.

Doesn't it make sense to first get us to believe in your imaginary friend before trying to scare us over what your imaginary friend will do with us unless we believe he's real too?

Do you really think threatening us with a fairy tale will cause us all to convert in a panic?

Have you checked in with reality lately?

You might be aware that aeroplane was an impossible device, but mankind made it.
Live telecast is also a surprising system.
But Hindu ancient texts already refer such devices Pushpak Viman and Dhutrastra-Sanjay Live commentary of Mahabharat war,..and Sudarsan Chakra on the hand of God and Godess....Now, the question is, Is it possible to make a self rotating device producing energy just like a 'sudarshan chakra' ?
If I say we can make it, which rest of world refute by their scientific superstition and believes such thing is impossible. I have confirmed that no Indian Institute of Technology or Science is undertaking any research on this subject. I want to know is there any body to sponcer research and making of proto-type for which design is ready? I hope the reader of this question will reply his opinion or ask persons in his/her group to solve the problem of searching a new source of energy.--GRAVITY(GAYATRI)...No cost , constant, available everywhere on earth.
