I think this should go for all christians:
I'll start caring about your soul when you do, til then, screw you.
Hey look, three thumbs down by atheists who don't buy my doctrine and would never consider believing it but want me to care enough to tell them about it. Amazing.

Do I have to be a "rapture-ist" to be a Christian? I don't know when Jesus is coming for His church, but I am very sure that He is coming. I suspect that He won't be coming until the very end of time, but I could be wrong. If He should come for me earlier than that, I certainly do not intend to argue with Him.
I don't see why anyone would think that a belief that Jesus is coming for His church would scare anyone who doesn't believe in God, so I'm not sure why you think telling you about it is meant to scare you. Could be the person telling you about it is just giving you what they consider to be important information. Still, I can see how, if you aren't really so sure about it, it could be a scary thought. There has to be that nagging thought in the back of the mind "What if I'm wrong?" or "Maybe there is a God, after all...nobody ever proved there wasn't, have they?"
Now, if the "rapture-ists" turn out to be correct, and folks you have known to be devout Christians suddenly disappear, that would be the time to "convert in a panic". At that point, I'm fairly sure there will be quite a few folks who had been told this "fairy tale" who will suddenly decide to "Check in with reality." (Think of all the people who weren't so sure, like agnostics, but who had been assured by some other people that it was a fairy tale...wow, some folks just might be really, really, really, really P I S S E D!!...I never thought of that before!)
In the meantime, since you have stated categorically that you are not interested, would you mind getting out of the way and letting those pesky Christians try to help somebody else?
Thank you, and please...do have a nice day.

I was going to answer this correctly...but then I had to ask...who the heck are you talking to?..who's this "you"? Christians? not all Christians do this. This is the imaginary world on R&S section on yahoo. (spst...what anyone on here says....is it EVER going to change someone's mind?)So have you checked in with reality? What kind of answer were you wanting? People to put there tails between their legs and apologize to you?But anyways, my imaginary friend can kick your imaginary friends as$! (since I assume we aren't talking about God) :P

Glad u called Him a Friend...
Would you believe anything if we told u...?
How can u believe friend if you have no heart to feel His presence,no eyes to see the small blessings that are a part of your daily life,no ears to hear what people testify?
How else are u gonna believe with that mind block?
If u dont believe why are u scared? Even God doesnt want you to convert in "panic"..He loves you n i cant believe ur so blind to see that..
About Reality one question-How did u come on this earth?
If you say your parents then how did they come on this earth?
and their parents?and theirs? so on it comes down to Adam n Eve? How did they come on earth? God created them surely u dont believe some atom created you by itself God did..Is that good enough friend?
Also Nobody is trying to scare you or causing you to panic for once Open your eyes and Look at Him..If you dont get a feeling of peace after u pray to Him with all your heart then tell me...Listen to ur heart...

These prophecies were written in the Bible for a reason.
The thing is not to scare, but to warn.
I think it's all in the way a person hears it- if you believe, it is a warning. If you do not believe, it seems a scare tactic.
But then, I'm sure some actually will use the verses deliberately to scare, which is a misuse of scripture.

Hey, Orion! What's up? We don't want you to be scared. We're not threatening you. That's like saying "A train's coming!" is a threat. Not so. We may never be able to convince you that God is real. But, that's okay. God reveals Himself to whom He chooses. We can talk until we're blue in the face, and you might never see what we're trying to convey. But when God speaks to you, you hear Him loud and clear. Until then, we are all lost. I'm just glad He revealed Himself to me. He didn't magically appear, or anything like that. He just softly spoke to my heart. And I know the difference between my conscience, my imagination and the voice of God.

The fool has said in his heart;" there is no God" Are you a fool? No one can convince another one to believe in God.
It is also true that people believe what they want to believe whether it be right or wrong. All people believe in a lot of things which may not be true.

Jesus doesn't get us to believe in him, it's a choice we make.
So I don't have to convince you. It should be your choice. And as far as scaring you into believing, the Bible tells us what is going to happen. So maybe you should examine your heart and see why you would be scared. As far as fairy tails go, God tells us there will be signs of things to come, check out scriptures and see. things that were predicted hundreds of years ago that have happend and will happen.
But one thing I can say is I have peace in my heart. Do you?

If you don't believe in God or Christ, then it follows you don't believe in the rapture. Once again, the choice is yours. I am not here to twist arms or judge, just share how wonderful my life is with Christ in it and hopefully let people decide that maybe He is the answer. But whatever decision you make, is your choice. Just offering a point of view that I believe is the correct answer to a life of fulfillment and an afterlife of Joy. Have a Super Day.

We are not required to convince anyone, we are only required to tell the truth, it is up to each individual as to whether they accept or reject it.
Converting in a panic would not get anyone anywhere for God knows what is in the hearts of all men.
God is real whether you believe or not.
