Do you believe that a flood covered the whole planet? It not a matter of faith for me, it a matter of who passed on the story. Then again a coworker tried to tell us that dinosaurs were on the ark. I didnt even say a word.

Actually, the flood story is found in almost every society's histories. It's rather incredible that they all speak of a great flood - this is documented through multiple nations, ethnic and religious groups. As for the Ark itself, decide for yourself. I always liked the idea of the Ark and Noah with all the animals myself - it's a lovely story. I couldn't even begin to tell you if it's truly historical fact since it happened so long ago and was verbally passed from generation to generation. There are tales of a boat on Mount Ararat in Turkey where no boat should ever have been able to go - some people have said it's the Ark. At any rate, I feel the flood happened but how deep it was or how humans and animals survived is up in the air.
The coworker who said dinosaurs were on the Ark should really try to look at the wondrous natural world and the archaeological evidence. There are even some folks who say that dinosaurs didn't exist at all - their skeletons are meant to deceive us and that science in general is a lie. I am a Christian and I am also a seeker of truth and I question irrational, baseless theories. The Bible doesn't mention dinosaurs but it also doesn't mention ferrets or chipmunks and yet I know they exist.

READ the Bible and study it. The dimensions make the Ark the size of a WWII aircraft carrier.
It is plausible to have enough of certain types of animals on board to carry on the species. Only the younger ones (smaller) would be on board, ones of breeding age, to propagate the species. and you don't need thousands upon thousands. All the dogs on the planet today came from only a few differ ant types, all the breeds you see today is what mankind came up with, this is the same with all other species, thy only came from a few different types of their ancestors.
As far as the dinosaurs, that is not possible? They recently found a T-Rex I believe somewhere in the Dakotas that was NOT COMPLETELY FOSSILIZED. They tried to conjure up some story of why it wasn't.
And the dragon legends came from where? They imagined it? Whole cultures around the world? Many of these dragon slaying legends could have been men killing off the last of the dinosaurs.
The Earth was completely changed after the flood. Climate, vegetation, topography. A major catastrophe. The dinosaurs are weakened, start to die off, and are not as big as their ancestors. eventually they are all killed off.
Riddle me this, batman: WHY is it possible for the world to be completely inundated by a tidal wave from a meteor impact 2 billion years ago, wiping gout everything but bacteria, but not inundated 4,000 years ago, wiping out almost everything living? Because one was in the Bible, and one on the discovery channel?
The Earth is ALREADY covered with water, almost 85% of it. We will see how much more is covered when the ice caps melt.
You can drill almost anywhere in the world and hit WATER if you drill deep enough. How did it get there? RUN OFF from the surface.

The evidence for a global flood is overwhelming. It is suppressed though, because the idea would verify a story in the Bible.
Take a close look at some of the fossil graveyards-they are flood deposits.
Or look at the Grand Canyon-although most scientist believe it is a result of millions of years worth or natural erosion, there are many scientist who see it as the result of flood runoff, or a natural dam break, and that it may have formed in just a few days.
The logistics of dinosaurs being on the ark, size, gathering up and so on, is elementary.

Some scientists have proved that the earth was flooded at one time and if you bother to take note dinosaur bones are found in sediment. The Ark has been found on Mt. Ararat.

Noah was more likely a Egyptian shipping trader of livestock and the flood was regional and there was no dinosaurs. If so I bet he made some good money on them? LOL

It is a crazy story. I love this new thing of them trying to put the dinos there too. 98% of the species we know about are extinct. There is no way to do it by weight or volume with the living things, even if you pick young. So, let's take an impossibility and multiply it by 50.........
Gotta love it.

It doesn't need to be defended. It's just fine on its own.
Gen 6:17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein [is] the breath of life, from under heaven; [and] every thing that [is] in the earth shall die.
As far as I know "every thing" means every thing.

hahah that's funny about your co workers, anyway i am uncertain , but if you read up on this , many cultures claim same story different times different people etc, etc, however i do believe one happened , was it exact as it says no one can really answer that
