I am from US. I wish to attend the "Follow the Christ" convention in Australia. I need to make arrangements fast. If the locations list is posted in the Watchtower, 03/01/07, please scan it and email it to me: ucantzme@bellsouth.net
Or perhaps you know where it is posted on the web. Only United States locations are given on www.Watchtower.org
I wrote the US branch about a week ago. They called me this morning and said I must write the AU branch for that information. I put the letter in the mail today, but I fear I just don't have time to wait for their response. I would like to know all the AU locations so I can plan my trip accordingly.

Thank You!
Christian Love!

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, was I brought forth "

mu·se·um /myuˈziəm/ –noun a building or place where works of art, scientific specimens, or other objects of permanent value are kept and displayed.
In Alberta a museum of Creationism was rescently built. I understand there are several in the U.S. already.
Should governments who are responsible for neutrality between religion and state allow specifically biased public domained museums?
Now I believe the institution of museums are to be held at a higher calibur than private institutions. Museums are a public (on a global scale) referrence to actual historic events, natural catalogs and/or artistic expression. All of these have the common premise of being factual.
Should specific fringe groups be allowed to alter history as they see it? If yes to Semetic philosophy then should other religions (Pagan creationism?) also be allowed?
Would this not deminish the standard that museums have historically set?
What about an anti-holocaust museum?

I've read 5 of the main books(up to Assassins), and 7 of the teen Left Behind books. Does it appear to you that this is where Christians are getting their Rapture knowledge? It does to me. Is this the problem with their knowledge? They take it from an admittedly fictional book?

Native Americans were already spread throughout North and South America, Australia was inhabited, China was an Empire, Egypt was an Empire, and no one seemed to have noticed this flood?

Why is that, religious types?

I have repeatedly read on Yahoo Answers statements similar to "we wouldn't cherish or glorify a gun used to kill a loved one, would we?"

The answer is always No. Of course not.

Yet Paul said in Galatians 6:14 that he would glorify the instrument - the stauros - of Jesus. The King James Version uses "glory"; the New World Translation uses "boast". Would you boast about a gun used to kill a loved one? I wouldn't.

So if you are someone who thinks it's wrong to "boast" or "glory" n the torture stake of Jesus, do you think it was wrong for Paul to view Jesus' stauros (as a symbol of his sacrifice) in such a respectful way? Do you think he should have spoken contemptuously of the stauros instead?

Please note: This question is about proper RESPECT, not idolatrous WORSHIP. Please don't quote scriptures about idolatry.

Here’s the deal! A good friend of mine went to Florida to help her sick mom. Her Mom suffers with Kidney problems and for 2 weeks she stayed in a coma and was able to overcome it, and now is on her way to recovery.

But here’s the catch, her Mother mentioned to her a couple of days ago, that before she slipped away into the coma, she saw this lady come to her in a dream and the woman said to her “That I’m here, and I’m here to hurt you”. This same woman that she visualized in her dream, actually lives in Haiti, and was visiting her boyfriend that lives with Cynthia and her mom. So she called me last night and told me the guy still lives there with them and she thinks him and the woman is practicing witchcraft aka. Voodoo. The woman is coming back to visit her boyfriend that lives with Cynthia and her mom, for a visit in August. Cynthia wants to tell the guy to leave their house, but she’s afraid to because she thinks that he might practice Voodoo to hurt her and they may eve

It's 2007. Real Biblical scholarship, by real Theologians, Archaelogists,Historians,Linguists, etc. have studied the Bible for over 100 years armed with the knowledge that these ancient stories were not intended to be read literally. That the authors were much more interested in explaining and illuminating important theological concepts. And they did so using allegory, metaphor, etc. That historical, linguistic, scientific inconstistancies where irrelevant because they weren't recording history. They were recording their myths and belief systems in highly symbolic language.Yet these bright, questioning minds are totally hung up on the complete impossibility that the universe was created in 7 days.Historical Writing as we know it didn't exist. The author was trying to express his belief in an all-powerful creator god and through in an explaination as to why there are 7 days in a week.He was not attempting to give an historical description. He was not a scientist.Just one example. WHY?

I'm not sure, but I have to seriously question living for eternity in a heaven. After about, say, a BILLION years, even heaven has to get boring. And what happens after a TRILLION years in heaven? Seems that after that amount of time you'd know everything and everyone...so THEN what do you do?

And then after a trillion, trillion years I think even I would get bored of scuba diving.

C'mon folks, an eternity? What would you do?

Heaven sounds quite boring to me.

Unless i say your name specifically in a title it means you prob don't know what im talking about. I'm not out to make enemies on here i asked a simple question "prove the non-existence of God" because Capt. Atheist said they had proof; scapegoat said he didn't say what i told everybody so i gave him a link. If people would read the questions and not ASSUME then they would see where i said The existence of God can neither be proven or disproved 100% which i said is why i asked the question because everyday i see a question that asks Christians to prove existence already knowing the answer, which means there doing it why? and knowing you cannot prove God is not real also.

For the record, I hold my beliefs strongly but i do keep an open mind and i do try and steer clear of generalizing, criticizing, and belittling in hopes that people have the same respect because if all people do is argue and criticize you learn nothing.

Question: Who agrees?
now back to answering questions lol

did you know that you have commited a great sin?

most of you are worshiping an idol.

If you have any pictures or statues of Jesus or God, then you are idol worshpers!

and don't give me that "We don't worship the statues we just use them to direct worship to God" or "We don't worship the idol, we just use it to remember God"

You can't say that, because thats what pagans do with idols, pagans don't worship that idol itself, pagans use the idol to direct worship to the God that it was made in the image of.

(except for the kemetics they actually worship the idols ^_^)

So, what do you have to say for yourself?
you are becoming that which you thought you freed yourself from.
