Issues I care about most? Gosh, it's quite a long list, but I suppose foremost would be children in the "underdeveloped" countries: starvation; little or no health care; few, if any, schools; child labor; child abuse; child "soldiers"; children exploited as sexual objects; children with AIDS; children whose parents died in war, genocide, or because of AIDS. It's a natural, I guess, because even as a young teenager in Georgia I wanted to become a father when I reached the age, and I promised myself that I would be the best dad there ever was--probably because my boyhood had been so raw and destructive. I am now the grandfather of five healthy and happy kids. Reading about little kids in Africa and parts of Asia and South and Central America really cuts into my heart and mind. Central to my role as an adult in rich America is to protect and nourish children--as it really should be for all of us. Sermon over.

How bought the government is to big issue.
The our nation defense has become an offense issue.
There are to many laws to enforce issue

I think the people need to start picking the issues instead of the media and the politicians.

Taking care of the Stray helpless animals :( I feel something has to be done for such helpless creatures who are in need of medical aid and food and shelter. Some people abusing have to be convicted on charges of mega abuse.

I suppose I care for them as these animals are not gifted like us humans. We can communicate and let the world know wat the difficulties we r going thru where as these animals can't tell us exactly what happens even if they do indicate us it's quite a difficult thing to know of wat exactly the matter is untill a vet diagnoses them or else we see physical wound, an internal invisible wound to the insides is just plain left unnoticed.

Elimination of racism and intolerance is the issue I care most about. Different sexual orientation, immigrants, different races and cultures, women, religions.... intolerance of all these things needs to be eliminated in order for us to have a peaceful AND free world. Can it be done? I think we have the capacity, but the likelihood is next to nil due to human greed and selfishness. Regardless, it is something worth fighting and arguing for.

Hrm.. Abused and neglected children. Abused animals. Religious intolerance. Disregard of a person’s rights in the government because of religious dogma (i.e. gay marriage, abortion, stem cell research) The rampant abuse of our planet, and our society's determination to ignore solutions to it if they are an inconvenience. And oddly enough Paranormal investigation. I love ghost hunting, lol…

To have the ability to change even one person's life for the better. To bring them to the light of goodness and hope of something they couldn't see in a different way.
