Unless i say your name specifically in a title it means you prob don't know what im talking about. I'm not out to make enemies on here i asked a simple question "prove the non-existence of God" because Capt. Atheist said they had proof; scapegoat said he didn't say what i told everybody so i gave him a link. If people would read the questions and not ASSUME then they would see where i said The existence of God can neither be proven or disproved 100% which i said is why i asked the question because everyday i see a question that asks Christians to prove existence already knowing the answer, which means there doing it why? and knowing you cannot prove God is not real also.
For the record, I hold my beliefs strongly but i do keep an open mind and i do try and steer clear of generalizing, criticizing, and belittling in hopes that people have the same respect because if all people do is argue and criticize you learn nothing.
Question: Who agrees?
now back to answering questions lol

I know little to nothing of any squabble you may have with anyone on this website; however, to answer your question and take this unique opportunity to shed some light on "interpretation" I must respond:
You write in English ; you state you do not wish to make enemies and lean towards "prove the non-existence of "God" and refer to Capt Athiest, it so appears, when you ask that "people read the questions" and Not "Assume" as you wish absolute clarification regarding your position on "God"; further, you position appears, as you say: " ...and knowing you cannot prove God is not real also" ...
I fault Nothing you say but bring this point to the front:
If you Consider the Christian Bible as writen, with your limited writings you can see how interpretation is everything. In you short blogs you have been shredded and figuratively "crucified", so to speak by personalities whom "don't understand you".
The concept of "God" is misunderstood, and as that concept is comminicated in language as you write, is there any surprise "God" may not be as "understood as you"? Imagine attempting to "write" and think about a matter one has no belief in? Where might this expereince to think and write about "God" come from then?
My Point: You can be Misinterpreted much less than the "Bible" has as the "Bible" is complex, and your blogs are less than a few hundred words at most.
Point, is it any wonder the "Bible was writen the way it was?
Most elect to "read" a Bible and not "feel it"; the differences are vast. The Christian "Bible" was perceptualy-written 2000 years ago in a "time" when Rome ruled with an Iron fist; to Cross Cesar was sure death-coupled with days of torture on the cross; the "Bible" was writen in figurative mannerism's to not offend Rome and this was a "forced issue"; further, the figurative writings were about holding onto a message that could be lost over "time"-culture and distance; plain writings have a way of loosing a message as words change in meaning; yet, a figurative messaage is drawn out long in context and the message can be reasoned out.
Within your blog-text is some truth, yet within Any Bible in Any Religion is much Truth, yet it escapes the "reader" whom reads with the eyes and fails to "feel" what is said; this is the spiritual connection many fail to lock onto.
For those whom wish to prove the non-existence of "God" they shall have just that, for a period, as they wish; the true nature of reality is a highly creative one and the perceptions of "God" is a private and personal relationship (s).
If you wonder why so many argue about "God" and that very conceptual existence, look at any "historical" writings regarding that concept and try to grasp it, much is lost in translation and this is truly Political due to "Church" indoctrination, ie: "join us, this is what we believe and you too can share this Truth with us"; the very concept of Self Discovery is lost.
Captain Atheist and others like him look at a "Bible" and read about "Jesus being the Son" and further that " no man can go to the father but by through me"; this concept can be offending as it drags religion into the arena: "be Christian, or else"...this Is Not the word of Truth as it Is distorted with the literal Interpretations of the "Bible": The meaning of that was not "join my Church, see "God" as I do", the meaning was: "I am the truth (Jesus was figurativly Truth) believe in me (Truth) and you shall find the Father".
It was plain and simple in figurative speech: seek the truth from yourself, and "God" can be found within"...
While Churches and religions look high into the sky for "God" and Truth, such is under thier noses.
This is how far the human species has turned from "God".
Those whom speak that "God is dead" or non-existent are turned away from the Truth as they demand Truth as if it is owed them; Truth is about one seeking reality within. Bow to no one, kneel to no one and priase nothing: "God" is about walking upright and evenly side by side and not about worshiping a Deity or "giving thanks" this is a Christian virtue based on thier ideas-interpretations.
Assumne nothing and seek everything.

Didn't you know, atheists get to set the rules on who should have the onus of proof. Who decided this ? Why, they did of course. They have a whole litany(!) of reasons why this should be so. Don't try to use their same arguments against them in reverse, because it will show you up to be an ignoramus. Like me.

I agree. You cannot prove god exists or does not exist. To each is own whether you believe or not.

I believe the debate continues because those who don't believe get tired of all the overt preaching by those who do. They are just trying to get back at them.
A bit childish really.

Hear you.....unfortunately, the only way any one individual can "prove" that there is a God is if they find Him for themselves
Peace be with you :)
