I think the problem is you are trying to equate the notion of heaven with physical enjoyment.
I always took that heaven ment paradise on a metaphysical level. In regards to a Christian God that would mean being as close as possible to him and that is what paradise would be
In other words heaven isn't about being able to go scuba dive all day but instead is about letting your spirit bask in the glory of God.
That how I always took the spin to be.
But hey maybe you get new cookies every day!

I think its unfathomable. Something we can never even imagine. perhaps we will have free reign of the universe and all its planets which are infinite. We will no longer be mortals confined to our earthly dwellings. Kind of wild to think about we will have indestructible bodies. Talk about thrill seeking.
Anyway I also believe that at first we will spend quite a bit of time in review of our earthly lives and getting answers as well as answering for our choices. For me personally- I used to think that the minute I went to Heaven- poof all the answers would happen at once. Now I think that - in Heaven we have all the time in the world. So it will be a long process.
Then after that you get to spend time worshiping God and thank Jesus for what he did for us.
There will also be plenty of extracurricular activities. The world will be our oyster- eat what you want- do what you want. Money will be no object. Weight, Health will be no object.
No worries.
I do not think it will be boring at all. I think it will be better than anything we can ever imagine!!!! There is so much out there. We are limited now by the confinements of our bodies. in heaven we will be free to live!

you're speculating on it being some certain way and the fact is that you are in heaven right now. If you are at peace and feeling love and kindness. Boredom comes from having a set quantity of things you've decided are interesting and categorized everything else as boring. If you can't do those things which you've programmed yourself to believe they are interesting, then you find what you are doing without interest. I'm amazed at some of the things people find interesting. Like tractor pulls and rodeos and car racing. Or sports. But yipee, it's fun for them. In other words, boredom is self-created as is a good time.

Imagine this: incapability of feeling any negative emotions, (like boredom); no concept or feeling of the passage of time. Ability to explore the limitless universe and the limitless God. What about discovering the untold mysteries of science? My goodness! As long as we've been here, we haven't even learned everything there is to know about the earth yet! I shouldn't have to define limitless for you to understand that you wouldn't ever be bored in eternity.

I don't know if you have ever watched Star trek NG, the race called the Q had difficulties with eternity too. However to them time was relative in that you could experience time in seconds or millennia and perceive it as a nano second of time. Besides, there is a never-ending expanse of the universe to explore!!!! And knowledge in heavenly terms is infinite. You could be assigned to be there to oversee the creation of new worlds and watch them go through what we are going through only you are assured of a peaceful happy eternity!

I've thought this myself before, to tell you the truth. Sometimes I just want to rest, to fade away, and the thought of living forever really wears me out.
But I also believe that heaven exists outside of space and time, so it wouldn't be a billion or a trillion years because things wouldn't be measured in years. I think it's hard for our mortal minds to grasp the concept of forever.

Heaven is described as a place similar to what we live in now, minus all the things that ILL us. There's streets, buildings, beautiful trees and foliage. Relationships, even the ones we have now as the bible says we'll recognize our descendants. Our Creator will be there... the very reason we ARE.
Heck no, that sounds like it would be a beautiful continuance of what we have here.
Here, on earth we strive to live.. that's our goal daily, we nourish ourselves, and take cautions to keep ourselves free from illness and what not. The only reason we get WEARY here, is because our bodies, and sometimes our brains break down over time. Take that weakening out of the equation, and put yourself in your prime of life? Living forever would be absolutely wonderful. Eternity is in our mind, death is in our bodies.
Have a great one! =)

well my friend, sorry to tell you this but you won't have the joy to try it out! so you won't know if it's boring or not. Dont' worry, I'll tell you after I get there and spend a bit of time there.
No, heaven will be great! It's so magnificent it's hard to explain. All kinds of animals, colors we've never dreamed of, dimensions we dont' even know, songs, sounds, music, people, joy, happiness, vast land to descover, relationship with God. Even if Trillions of years passed there will always be joy, happiness, and things to discover in heaven, God himself will be enough though.
If you life 100 years on earth, there is always something to do isn't there? same thing in heaven.

What if you could live on earth for eternity? Would you get bored? Think of all the things you could learn to do. You know that humans only use .01 of 1 percent of the capacity of our brains. Who knows what we could do if we could use all of it?
As for me, I don't want to die, at all, ever. I want to travel all over the world and see the sights, I want to learn to play musical instruments and I want to study insects and birds and other animals. I want to learn to scuba dive and climb mountains and build houses. I have a friend that wants to build a tree house and live in it. The earth was created for us to inhabit and there are so many things we can enjoy here, even for millions or billions of years. Even forever.

No...i do no longer think of heaven gets uninteresting. it will be greater efficient than something we've experienced in the international. You stated that each and all the "relaxing" issues would be banned - heaven would be crammed with issues lots greater desirable than the stupid issues we delight in in the international. no longer desirous to provide up earthly issues is like being a baby content cloth with enjoying in the airborne dirt and dust & no longer desirous to pass to Disney international. we are so naive, all all of us understand is this earth, so we are happy with our little joys here, yet we are informed that the subsequent existence is going to be infinitely greater efficient than something we've ever popular. The humorous factor (even regardless of the undeniable fact that that's relatively no longer very humorous in any respect) approximately human beings no longer desirous to spend eternity with God is they're going to get their desire. Hell is eternal separation from God. in case you do no longer prefer to spend eternity with your Maker - you will no longer. and human beings say that God is arbitrary! like it or no longer regardless of the undeniable fact that, you would be someplace for eternity. i like the quote by utilizing C.S. Lewis - "you do not have a soul, you're a soul. you have a physique." our bodies won't final...yet our souls - what makes us who we are, that's eternal.
