Contrary to what some think, I respect each and every one of you I'm just trying to get you to grasp a concept that keeps behaviorist chasing their tail.
Just because every one is born with the "Sin Nature" it does not necessarily mean you are going to commit a capital crime. However none of you or I can say we never do anything that fall into the catagory of evil.

The Sin Nature states that everyone is born with the "tendency" to do bad things but sometimes it finds its way into a grand idea like Hitlers
!. Yes as you say it takes good parenting, empathy, positive mentors and yes even the law to quell this monster. Also God has given us a concience to prevent a massive amount of folk from succoming to a reprobate mind otherwise this world would be inundated with violence. Howbeit none of these things can keep the SN from influencing bad behaviour such as cheating on ones spouse.
Christ in me gives me an extra gear to combat the evil within me and still I am not perfect.

What did Jesus teach in terms of ethics that cannot be found in older faiths?

If you believe the former: Does that mean that God actually HATES sinners who did not repent during life? How could it mean otherwise?

If you believe the latter: Is that because those who don't repent simply enjoy sinning and their hell is the closest they can get to heaven or is there more to the equation?

My son who is 10 and I have been attending a great church for 3 months and we love it . I have signed him up to be baptized. I worry so much about my only child being harmed that I realized I needed to give him back to the LOrd and he would cover him. He can protect him way better than me. My son dont quite understand this and how can I help him to as this is a wonderful gift a parent can give a child and he dont understand . What else shoud I tell him about this experience or do you think he is too young?

My stupid fiance is not Catholic, and therefore my church won't do wedding banns in the newsletter and they won't give him Communion at our weddign service, although I am receving it. I think it looks disorganized, so I decided he should convert. He doesn't want to, but he has to, otherwise were through. What is the best way to persuade him so I don't look selfish, just religious?

All throughout history. Seen some of this in the history channel the other day.

Yet people say our government is evil because of the the few times where some of our government officials went against the rules & were accused of torture? Yet the torture accused of didn't compare to other evil rulers in history & what terrorist do today to people they kidnap.

Do you think accusing US or our President or Governement or the West is a smoke-screen so the terrorists can get away with it?

I thought anyone from North America attends school where we learn about this stuff.

Or is it that its simply convenient for Christians to ignore history because they don't like it the way they ignore, or twist, the parts of the bible they don't like?

Hi. I have to do a report for Religion on your beliefs. I have a few questions and would like for you to answer them as detailed as possible and please list your source(s).

Why do you believe in hardcore evangelism? In example, door to door preaching and handing out magazines. Is there a certain part in one of your holy books that you get this out of?

What are some of your beliefs that one wouldn't normally hear about?

Do you believe in Jesus and the Trinity?

Thank you so much for your answers.

If you people don't want to believe Jesus is Lord, that's fine. But millions and millions of people do believe he is the one true God, and he is their savior. There is strength in numbers, and majority rules. Therefore, while you have every right to not believe (and to suffer eternally in hell as a result), you people need to pay respect to him accordingly.

I read that it was written on leather, palm leaves and others but not preserved. I also read the Quran didnt actually show up until 150 years after Mohammed died. I also read that the Quran is just a copy of the Old and New Testaments with some pagen practices thrown in. And that if Allah was the one true God why did Abraham not call Him by His name? And my final question I read that the crescent moon was actually the family crest of Mohammed and Allah was a moon God. I guess it would be great for anyone to answer but perhaps Muslims could answer these questions best. I have done some research and found these same answers. The only one I found to be different is that Muslims say that the Jews changed what Abraham really called God name wise. Im not trying to discredit Islam just trying to get a better look at it. Thank you all in advance.
