...and he assured me that he most definitely does NOT exist; and he wanted me to spread the message to all of you.

He also told me that Paris Hilton would be released from jail later that day.

I've had divine revelation.

My words were directly inspired by He Who Does Not Exist.

My words contained a prophecy that came to pass.

Therefor, my claim has exactly as much to back it up as the bible, and directly contradicts the bible.

By what objective, universal standard do you judge who is right and who is wrong?

And if there is no standard, how can you say ANYthing concrete or factual about EITHER claim, and why should you just accept either claim?

To those who believe gods are omnipresent-
How can a god that is omnipresent be incapable of being detected with the natural senses?

If you also believe your god is omnipotent and omniscient and wants to be worshipped, why does this god not approach those who do not worship him in the way that it knows (because it is omniscient) will result in the person having enough information to choose to worship it, instead of denying the evidence the unbeliever needs to have free will and make decisions to worship or not based on free will?

Please answer honestly. No need for nastiness. If you feel this is an attack upon your religion, go take a walk or something and come back when you're less angry.

In regards to 1 Nephi 13-14:

When Nephi refers to the future Church of the Lamb of God, is he referring to all future Christians or just future Mormons?

I thought it was all Christians until I read that Gentiles were not included. And, well, Gentiles were part of the early Christian church.

I'm assuming the "Lamb of God" is Jesus. Maybe that is where I am mistaken?

Lifelong Catholic but that's going to change: My daughter, 15 just recently came out to me; I told her it's OK and I love her and support her 100% no matter what; but she seemed kind of upset and moody (usually very happy before); eventually let me know she had "confessed" her feelings to our Catholic priest before and he told her she had a "grave moral disorder" and needed to resist it or she was in danger of going to Hell. Obviously, I confronted him and gave him a piece of my mind. Where can Christian families that have gay members go and feel welcomed? I don't want my daughter to think she has to sacrifice either following her heart or her relationship with God.

How long more are you going to ignore the threat of your co-religionist and pretend that islam has nothing to do with it?

BELGRADE, Serbia: Police arrested three suspected Islamic extremists on Thursday in a continuing crackdown in a southern region with a sizable Muslim community.

The three men — identified as Aladin Pulic, 22, Erhan Smailovic, 32 and Husein Culjak, 29 — were apprehended in the southern city of Novi Pazar, 175 kilometers (110 miles) south of Belgrade, police said. Six others were detained in the city in March, allegedly in possession illegal weapons and accused of plotting terror attacks, police said.
...
There have been no terrorist attacks by the alleged militants in Sandzak, authorities said, but they allegedly assaulted moderate Muslims in the area, disrupted their prayers and accused them of failing to practice "true" Islam.

May I politely ask why we can't be civilized here? It is not a bad thing, civil behavior. In fact, if it is an argument, a point-of-view you are expressing, it was ever so that being respectful of the 'opponent' is a major plus. Schoolyard bullies never win in the end.
