I haven't quite made up my mind on that, to be honest.

I personally would rather see an open dialogue about belief/non-belief. There is so much animosity already, by the believers, who are inherently inclined to hate non-believers.

It seems to me that openly assaulting their beliefs is just going to make them hate us even more.

But at the same time, it does occur to me that the nonchalant attitude most atheists have, is what has allowed the believers to become as powerful as they have.

The Rational Responders are "checking" the believers. And that's a good thing. But I would personally like to see a little more love behind the effort.

I think that is freaking hilarious. If I had a web cam I would do it in a heartbeat.
Give atheists a bad name? Hardly. It just proves we know how the world really works, and we have a better sense of humor than many Christians.
But boy, I can almost hear the Christian heads exploding all over the country.
I especially love their tag line about "[having] a soul you're not using." That's brilliant.

Hmm. the guy's no longer very mind-blowing, is he? If that drivel is "the ideal reaction", the believers don't have plenty, do they? i could be tremendously embarrassed to have that form of lack of expertise on my part, incredibly as they looked as though it may think of that denying the existence of genuine human beings is by some potential a clever rebuttal to the Blasphemy venture. Uh, no, it extremely is in basic terms common mendacity. does not you think of that if there have been a solid argument for the existence of gods, we could have heard it by potential of now? does not the actuality which you would be able to no longer arise with one kinda assist you comprehend some thing with regard to the conventional of that theory?

Personally, I think they're a little immature. They're going for shock value and are more like rebels than they are intellectuals. I definitely do not think they are the best representatives of atheism, but then again, there are no representatives of atheism. It's not a belief system, it's simply not being part of others belief systems.

As for them giving us a bad name, only if you believe that all atheists are the same.

I think it is more to empower themselves. I'm personally unimpressed by it, but I'm not an atheist, so I can't really understand the crap they put up with. I asked about it here once and the majority of the answerer said that it was a way to get support from others and a way to convince Christians that they REALLY DON'T BELIEVE in God (and that they're not just "angry at God" or something).

I'd say they're the pretty "fed up" and tired side of atheism, and have a mindset that makes their points more "in your face" than most. I know, from personal experience, that some "in your face" doesn't do more than just generate more anger, suffering, etc. coming from the other side, but everybody is different and of different temperaments and understanding of things... so I let people just do what they do, and as long as they're not causing any REAL harm or suffering, like I always say "short of egos getting wounded", they can do pretty much as they like.

Some of the damned girls are cute. lol

Selling your soul for a dvd. heehee But then, to those that don't believe, this really isn't that big a deal.

All they are doing is getting people to come out into the open with the nonbelief. Nothing wrong with that. Certainly better than firebombing churches.

As much as I hate trends, I think this was a genius idea, and I give it my full support. I haven't made my video yet, but only because I am such a creative spirit. I want to make mine super fancy and cool... or at least more entertaining than average.

It is my opinion that people waste too much time arguing over something that at this point in human history CANNOT BE ANSWERED
Nobody knows or can prove that there is or is not a god or gods or heaven or hell
SO PEOPLE GET A LIFE, LIVE IT, AND QUIT WORRYING ABOUT CRAP THAT CANNOT BE ANSWERED!
as for the guys at that site who really f***ing cares
