Yes, but monotheists don't care.
Well, monotheism is silly, anyways, so they can do as they like as long as they aren't trying to legislate their nonsense.
Thumbs down: What? You don't like getting it served back?

Yeah, it's culturally insensitive. How would you like it if someone attacked you and said you believe in false Gods, Goddesses, or idols. People should mind there own business and keep their mouths shut. Saying things like you mentioned are offensive and trouble-making.

I think it is generally unhelpful, even when it might even be theologically accurate within one's own religion to do so.
We live in a world today where our communications can be read by everyone. We're not just preaching to the choir anymore when we say things; so it is important to always be mindful that people of other religions are going to be stunned and hurt if they run into demeaning and hurtful language.
Promoting the benefits of one's own religion is always the best way for someone to explain why they hold the beliefs that they do. I don't think much good can come from antagonizing others excessively.

Yes. Because how do you know? How do you know that the Budda, Dali lama, Mohammed, God, etc. are not all one in the same? It could be humans that decided to separate the entitiies out of convienence. Like Henry the 8th creating his own religion (Anglican), modeled after catholicsm, just so he could get a divorce. Tolerance is what we have to learn.

No it's rude to assume that anyone's religion is the only right one. Just because they don't believe doesn't mean those gods and Goddesses are false.

It depends on the circumstances. If you're just putting down others for the sake of it, then it is. If someone is trying to ram their faith down your throat, I can imagine lashing back by denouncing deities is a natural human response. :)

I think arrogant and insulting more then culturally insensitive. But honestly they don't care. They don't care about anything but their God and their followers. Not that everyone is like that. But they are more often then not. Even though our Gods make themselves known WAY before theirs.

In my opinion it's a bit of arrogance or it could be just simple "ignorance" (i.e. not knowing). A lot of people just do what they know. The thing to do is cultivate your own mind to be calmer, and more aware of the wherefores of their actions and ultimately, maybe, eliminate the buttons they push in your mind.

Yes, it is very insensitive and narrow minded. And how can it be accurate when it's offending other people's beliefs?

I'm sure it is, culturally. Personally, I don't give a damn what the culture thinks. The culture thinks sleeping around is okay as long as you're doing what makes you happy. The culture thinks it's okay for a woman to undress in public to sell tortilla chips.

it is silly
to say that one is more true than another
when all are equally unproveable
and all are equally real to the believer
no one has a right to say any are false
we can say .... I BELIEVE mine to be true
but not to claim it
