^ Waiting in line is a fact of life, so just grin and bear it. What I can't stand are people who try to cut in line or stand in such a way that they are actually on two lines and you know who your are. I do tell them nicely there's a line or I ask which line are you on. That solves the problem.

If some ones asks and if they are elderly or just have a couple of items and I'm not in a hurry I will let them go in front of me, especially the elderly, I would hope someone would do that for my mother also.

It really depends on if I am in a hurry or not. It's a given that when you go to the DMV you will have to wait about an hour or more, I always make sure I have plenty of time when I go there!! As far as the grocery store goes, it really does depend on if I am in a hurry or not, If I am having a leisurely day off, I don't care if they have four shopping carts full of items and a coupon for every one (although I DO feel bad for the cashier!). If I am running late for work, and just needed to grab something quick, then I will try to find the shortest, fastest moving line to expedite my purchases!!

I have NO patience... I know that when I go to the RMV that I'll be waiting an hour, but it still pisses me off every 30 seconds I'm sitting on the uncomfortable bench hearing all the letters except the one I have... The grocery store is not as bad. People tend to flow more. Although once, a woman paid for a $19.99 cake with a coffee can full of change...

Hi, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't have the patience while waiting in line. It depends on different things. If the cashiers are talking to each other over the customers and not paying attention to what they are doing then that makes me angry or you get these people who just won't move down once there groceries are rang through and paid for. I like to be friendly to people but sometimes there will be somebody who just won't be friendly back. But for the most part I am patient well out in public because there are so many of us and that is just the way it is and besides we want people to be patient when it is our turn.

I'd rather be stuck behind someone who's using a bunch of coupons than someone who is using a bridge card (food stamps), WIC vouchers, didn't check her products first and when she finds out she has to pay $1.53 in cash of her own money will sit and argue with the cashier about it for 10 minutes. Then she takes her 5 kids outside and gets in a brand new Escalade with 26" wheels. I'll take the old, cheap, coupon lady any day!

I sometimes have patience... depends on my mood for the day, and how much of a hurry I'm in. I try to be easy going, and take things as they come, but sometimes I feel like snapping.

Yes I do have patience. I'm patient far longer than I need to be.

I just think what good will it do for me to be impatient? no matter what the reason.

No. That is why I either read or do a crossword puzzle to keep my brain distracted from the fact that I am waiting. Time goes by quickly. I'm happy.

I have no tolerance for ignorance or stupidity.

If the place is just busy I'll either wait or leave.
