I see more fights than discussions going on here. People just want to insult one another behind the screens.

alright, in reference to the previously posted question by
"." lol i'd like the make this addition.

as for the brainwash statement, im not saying whether i believe it or not... but i do very much understand where the author is coming from.

i have something to add to this also, think about if way back when the bible and other such religious materials were written. do you think if they had the technology and sciences we have today religion would even exist?

My question is in reference to speaking out against illegal immigration.Scared of being called a racist.Ignorant of the facts about illegal immigrants.Or just lazy white people?
If we do nothing the illegal immigrants here will get amnesty. Then thier relatives will be allowed to come here.

This morning I went to get the newspaper and found a dead crow, facing north on the footsteps, between the sidewalk and the entry to the houses' front yard. I appreciate your answers.

I'm Catholic but never attended a Triditine Mass. I attend mass a few time a week but its the Norvus Ordo (New Mass) (1970)

Just wondering what the Tradtional Latin Mass is like, and if you still go to the Old Mass

I was a child/teen in the 80's and I loved growing up in the era! People always say it was a "cheesy" decade and that the clothes we wore were tacky and loud. I disagree, I think we had more style and it was a "fun" decade for music, movies, fads etc.. Did we really look that bad?? Anyone here a fan of the 80's?

That it is impossible to be well educated and well informed and be a Bible believing born again Christian at the same time. What a rude and completely wrong statement. Christians, what do you think of this?

believe me, I tried to believe in God but it just doesn't work for me
I tried praying, reading the Bible and stuff, going to a churchgroup I tried it all but it's impossible for me to believe there is a God and if there is he doesn't seem to want me around.
Is this because my parents are atheists and told me these are all stories, I don't blame them, this is what they believed
but why do others believe without questioning and I don't succeed at all...

The catholic church claim that god made the universe and god made himself. Yet it's proven that something can't come from nothing. Other religions claim that it was also created from something. It's a open question but a honest one. Isn't it strange that we are here today on our computers/phones or what ever and some rarely take the time to think how did we get here. How was something made out of nothing. No Flaming Please.
