I just answer a similiar question. You have a great protection around you. This crow is a sign of evil and bad things to come, BUT finding it dead is good. Your guardian angel or protector saved you. The crow represents a old witch doctor searching for souls.

I don't think that means anything, but there is an old superstition about crows. My mom, who is trying so hard not to fall for the old superstitions anymore, used to freak out when a crow or black bird would "try to get into the house". When the black bird would "tap" at the window she said someone was going to die. I am not sure where this came from in history, I may actually try to find out someday because it is a neat superstition, but that is all it is.
I do have to say that it did come true one time and my mom rubbed it in my face that she was right, but it may have been a coincidence.
Superstitions are nothing more than that. Oh and entertaining too. Relax!

I live in a 4 unit apartment building. Last month i heard a "thump" sound outside like someone threw something against the building. I opened my door and saw a wounded black crow on the ground dying, a few weeks later the guy (56 yrs old) upstairs died unexpected. Death came thru here and took a life. this is scary shhhhhhhhit.

The night my Grandfather died, that day crows came on his porch and would not shut up. My grandmother went at and tried to run them off but they kept coming back. Then my daughter cat brought in two crows into her house a week apart. Her other cat died and her husband grandmother is in icu dying a week later. Then the same day that the cat brought the first crow in my Dad had one on his doorstep all day. I was having dreams about him dying prior to that. My sister had a dream he died at the same time I had my first one. Then my daughter had three dreams that he s going to die. So I think there is something to it. I look at it as a message from above.

Some people believe in such signs but it can be really confusing if you want to follow a sign of something you have no clue why it happened....
... let me be more clear:
1-I am Arab, in our culture the awl is an ominous creature brining woe and destruction.
2-In Europe an awl is the symbol of wisdom and actualy an auspicious scene.
I'm a Christian and I believe in the divine love of Jesus Christ therfore I do not give meanings based on superstitious stories.
I wish you all the best!

Every culture that has crows is going to give you a diff answer. What it means is that either a cat left you a present or the bird smacked into your window.
That's about it.

It means the bird died in the air and fell on your stairs. The belief that a dead crow indicates death is a superstition. There is no truth to it.
