what happens when the both of you die? you end up going to heaven and he/she goes to hell. you're forever separated from your true love. isn't god sort of punishing you in a way? would you care at all? you're up in heaven having a good time, but in the back of your mind you know that the person you loved more than anything is burning in a lake of fire for all eternity. will god erase the memory of that person so that you don't worry about him/her anymore? will he erase all your memories of pain simply so you can have an eternity of joy? if so, what was the point of you living?

Hello! I have always wondered about the term "Jew". My mother forbade me to use that term and said that it was just like calling a black person the N-word. She said that I am to refer to Jewish people as Jewish people. Period. Is "Jew" a slur? How do you feel about the word?
(I know that those who answer the question cannot be responsible for answering for ALL Jewish people, but I wanted to collect some opinions. Thank you for your responses!)

...Christ is it logical to wonder whether God or CHrist was upset that a Roman Catholic was playing Christ? Caviezel is described as a devout Roman Catholic, which means he is obviously insane doesn't it? Ok, I'm 18 years old, so there's alot of stuff going on. I like girls, and have had girlfriends in the past. I plan to get married to a girl, etc. However, one of my friends (who's gay) really wants to massage my feet and such, and I don't have a problem with that. I can't see myself kissing another guy or having sex with another guy, but I wouldn't mind if he gave me a massage or something. What does this mean? Am I gay, bi, curious, or straight? If jesus REALLY loved you, he would let you into heaven without testing you.

For example: when you have a child, do you make him/her work for its food? No. Because you love your child unconditionally.


So if we are all jesus's children, why doesnt "jesus" make it easy for everyone to see him, believe in him, find salvation, etc...

Why play this little game of hide and seek?

And most importantly, why doesnt he come down and help the people in Darfur for example?

What is he trying to prove by staying hidden?

So much for "all knowing, and all loving".

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me" is not only a declaration of steadfast faith in ultimate deliverance, but also a foretelling of the events that occurred during the Crucifixion.

Or am I just the last lamb to realize the obvious? It's just that I don't remember any sermons making that observation, which seems to make those words maybe the most profound that Christ uttered in his extremity.

While changing tv channels,I heard one televangelist saying that a group of Christian were challenged by a group of Muslims to prove that the Christian faith was the true religion. The Christian accepted the challenge and requested that a very sick man (one that the doctors have given no hope of recovery ,basically a dying man) be brought to their presence`
Somehow they were able to bring this sick man... now the Christian minister said to the Muslims I am going to pray in the name of ALLAH ... he pray and pray and nothing happened... Then he said I am going to pray in the name of JESUS to bring his health back to normal. The moment he mentioned JESUS the man stood up and was completely cured... Well I am not a Muslim... but I think this televangelist exagerated to the extreme, to be honest I do not believe this cure ever happened. This televangelist reminded me of PINOCCHIO

All non-christians. I must first thank you for not asking snobby questions to on these forums about how why I don't follow your religion.
I ask the question: How hard is it to resist ask questions like:
You all are full of sin, why don't you become (insert your religion here) because that is the only way you can be saved. And similar questions such as this.
I ask because I am not of one religion so I cannot answer this myself and also because I like to know others opinions.

I ask them questions and they get all bent out of shape and start threatening me with the wrath of their savior. Why can't they just peacefully disagree? I've been promised bad things will happen to me several times today by the followers of Jesus, wasn't he supposed to be part of an all-knowing, all-loving god or something like that? the fact that there are so many different religions with so many different beliefs as far as the afterlife, seems to tell me that people will believe whatever they want to believe regardless of whether or not it's true. isn't this proof that they're all made up then? please spare me the, "it's true for me" lines. 1+1=3 may be true for you too. that doesn't mean it's a universal truth.
