Apparently it was also okay to feed Joseph Smith human flesh while he was incarcerated in Liberty Jail, meanwhile raping and murdering other Mormons.

And the mob murdering Joseph and Hyrum Smith at Carthage...well, that wasn't actually illegal, you know. It was also justifiable. (Forget that there was no trial, no due process of law, just a crazed mob.)

What wonderful, exemplary Christians, wouldn't you say?

Those things are just more reasons to believe Brother Joseph. Why would any one withstand that much torture for a lie? Also how many who were close to him go through that persecution? Tougher times still to come brethren and sisters. But remember The Son of Man hath descended below us all.

No unhallowed hand can stop the work. Joseph Smith critized the Saints for the reasons they were driven out of Missouri. They lacked sufficent faith and humilty.

No amount of hardship justifies a cruel and inhuman act. Mountain Meadows is an opportunity for today's Saints to reflect on how we may avoid the sins of revenge and self justification.

Pres Faust spoke very eloquently at the last conference about the how the Amish had used forgiveness to overcome grief and pain. Let's not fight back against those who can't understand.

This is designed to demoralize and turn a set of Americans against each other and play into the muslims hands.
Can you see what they are doing by using the internet to discredit us and turn us against each other. Divide and conquer. Should we let them get away with it.
When questions was asked about a morman canidate to be president most Americans said that his religion would not be a problem. This is a muslim trying to turn us against each other.

It has always been that way. Christians also killed people who they claimed be witches....it's all through the history of America and the world. People fear and hate what they do not understand and in their mind that justifies killing, raping etc.

No, they tared and feathered Joseph Smith, twice, maybe three times and it tore his skin off, if I remember my Mormon history right, it not only tore his skin off to take it off, it burned him to put it on, hot tar, so I don't know where you got your info on the human flesh from. I never got that info from the prophet in SLC, UT, the home of the Mormon church were I lived 15 minutes away from the church office bukding and i use to ride the church office elevators that went really fast.
for info on CURRENT christians that have died for their faith, (I know Mormons are not suppose to read nonmormon books, but try to its a christian book and you claim to be christians to) read "Sister Freaks" by Rebbecca Saint James.

Why do they have to be christians, do you have any proof that the murderers of Joseph Smith etc were Christians? While you are at it also justify the Blood Atonement doctrine. And please do not tell me I am telling you what you believe, I am sick of mormons telling me that I am telling them what they believe. I dont have to tell you, if you actually opened your eyes to the horrors carried out by your church you would see that people like Brigham Young justified the murder of innocents just becausre they had left the LDS church. Mormons who do not believe in Blood Atonement do not believe in the LDS church, therefore should not really be mormons. How many mormons were bought to justice for carrying out blood atonement murders?

It's scary when anyone's dedication to their faith turns to violent sentiments towards others. Sadly, it still seems incredibly prominent in the world today.
