Has this ever happened to you?

Lets say you are standing in the check out lane somewhere .. like wal-mart and you get this feeling you are being stared at. you look around and notice someone .. lets say two isles over is staring at you. so you say to yourself no biggie. but then you look back again at some point and they are still staring in your direction! don't that just creep you out?

Why is it ok to generalize black people with a positive stereotype?

Like most blacks can dance, most are very atheletic, but if you ask something about them being cold interolerant everyone thinks you're a racist.

Does anyone believe in spell check anymore?

I mean really...up above your answer box is this cute little green box with a little green abc with a check under it...Next to that box is a nifty little phrase saying 'Check Spelling'. I mean really, is it that hard to click on and wait a few seconds while it checks your spelling? Why oh why must we endure such lazy grammar???

Why give a 'thumbs down' for a nice direct answer that is in no way rude?

I have just been given 2 thumbs down, for perfectly serious and respectful answers. Personally, I only give thumbs down if the answer is rude or abrassive... not just for fun, or because I don't agree! What is your reasoning for giving a thumbs down?
-because you disagree with a different opinion
-for kicks
-or for rude answers?

Why cant a bible class be taught in a public school with out an uproar from people?

as a high school kid in texas i dont see why we cant have a bible study class. i mean there are so much thing wrong with schools theses day. everyday i have to watch a group of gays/lesbian in the hallways kissing (im not trying to be intollerent of them but i dont support that). i see drugs bein delt. teenage girls pregenant. gang related violence. and loads of other things that the schools do not deal with. but some one talk about bible in class and gets in trouble.whats up with that? if people really cared about todays youth they would have God back in school.

When you receive a graduation announcement, is it implicit that you send a gift?

Over the years, several of my distant relatives have sent my family graduation announcments whenever they finished high school or college. They sent us these announcements despite the fact that, until recently, my family lived on the other side of the country, and that we rarely kept in touch with those particular relatives.

My parents always sent gifts, albeit grudingly. But my parents forbade my sister and I from ever sending graduation announcments to anyone, because they felt that it was inapproriate to "ask" for gifts.

Some of my older relatives, however, seem to think that graduation announcements are actually invitations to the ceremony, and that our decision not to send announcements means that we do not want them to attend the ceremony.

Do graduation announcements serve any purpose other than to ask for gifts?

Why are Chinese people so rude?

This applies to most Chinese people old and young. Examples that they are rude are these:

1. Many like to raise their voice, yell or scold you when talking to you. This happens almost wherever I see Chinese people.

2. They like to put you down in your face, or talk negative things about you when your around saying your name out and laugh in their own language.

3. They have starring problems.

4. If you block their way they like manhandling, pushing or knocking you off to the side instead of saying "excuse me" and don't even apologize.

5. When you tell a worker inside a Chinese food market to get you some food behind the counter, and if they drop the food on the ground, they expect you to pay for it and eat it even though its dirty. How discourteous. The least they could do is get you another one.

6. They don't say "Thank You" after you hold the door open for them.

7. Driving habits: Cutting you off. Won't let you cross street as a pedestrian.

why do people find it so hard to believe in witchcraft?

why is it that its ok for a christian to call wiccans crazy when everything about wiccan is natural and earth based? the earth exists does it not? how are we to know that an all powerful guy who sits in heaven deciding whats good and bad for humans exists just because a well written book states it?
i mean.....i read a good book about a dummy that can speak....but i didnt believe it
im open to anything anyone wants to believe, i think to have a religion and passion about something in this day n age is awesome and takes alot of strength, but dont slag others for their beliefs, no religion is scientifically proven n im sick of coping crap from non belivers when their beliefs are just as non proven

if people who were educated at a certain school had (COMPARED to the rest of the schools)an unusual?

number of students who didn't have a proper knowledge of basic education even,wouldn't you say that (even though it's dependant on particular individuals) that the school really "doesn't seem to be doing a great job"?

similarly,compared to all the other religions in this world,throughout history,when most crime and heinous deeds seem to be done by people who have had christian upbringings,wouldn't you kind of think that there must be SOME reason for there to be so may people who have been brought up,and who claim to be christians and yet act so contrary to what they're taught?(i suppose islam would also fall into this category)

why are there not more people of other religions who have traumatized the world? how come as a percentage,generally people of other religions seem to actually follow the teachings and christianity has a lot of people who have been taught but don't follow?

Why do people feel it's perfectly OK to conduct their business, family or social life in doorways, on stairs or sidewalks or from their cars in such a way that nobody can get by? And why do they get upset when you try?
