number of students who didn't have a proper knowledge of basic education even, wouldn't you say that (even though it's dependant on particular individuals) that the school really "doesn't seem to be doing a great job"?

similarly, compared to all the other religions in this world, throughout history, when most crime and heinous deeds seem to be done by people who have had christian upbringings, wouldn't you kind of think that there must be SOME reason for there to be so may people who have been brought up,and who claim to be christians and yet act so contrary to what they're taught?(i suppose islam would also fall into this category)

why are there not more people of other religions who have traumatized the world? how come as a percentage, generally people of other religions seem to actually follow the teachings and christianity has a lot of people who have been taught but don't follow?

I've thought about this often, and I think it's because they figure they're going to go to hell anyway, so why not take down as many people as they can on the way there?

On the subject of schools, I've just been fortunate enough to be homeschooled instead of re-enrolling at the Christian school I've been going to. For the last year, I've felt as if I've been going to a babysitting service for teens. I think it's good for some people, sure, but not people with the ability to think for themselves. Every teacher I had could not get a job with other non-religious private schools or the public school system. Three of them had not even graduated from college, but did the people that accredited the school ever know that? My own mother asked the head mistress if she could see the diplomas of these teachers, and she said she did not "have copies of them". These teachers had graduated from our own school just 3 years prior! These were not bright people, people who could have finished college in three years. This may not be the way it is in every Christian school. This is just the experience of someone who was turned off the entire religion by the indoctrinating acts of a institution of "learning."

Well, Western Civilization and Western religions - you only get your history and your TV news about the Western Civilization (and a TINY part about Eastern Civilizations and religions). So, of course you will think that Western religions and people have the biggest problems.

In reality, I'll bet it's pretty much spread out the same way all over the globe.

Stupid idea. If people use religion as excuse to commit crime you can't blame religion. Religion is way of life.

Lot of people blame their parents for every bad things. Let's get rid of parents too. Have everybody go on their way soon as they're born.

Social problems don't have silver bullets. It's vast network of problems. You can't make big judgment like that over your 'observations'.

This is very superficial analysis. And full of stereotypes. I think this is typical example of lack of critical thinking/analysis.

What faith was Hitler? Stalin? Ho-Chi-Minh? Pol-Pot? Attila the Hun? These ones account for untold MILLIONS .Come on, get real.
It seems tha NON-religion is more dangerous. any time there is a spiritual vaccum is where the problem lies. The ones who commit mass-murder that have had a Christian up bringing means they REBELLED against it.

Mike,

Where did you get your statistics? Since most of the worlds population is Christian or Muslim, it makes sense that most crime is committed by them, although those who commit crime and crimes against humanity are not exhibiting the principles of their associated faith.

I guess I think you should study Chinese history too before you paint with a roller.

The only reason most crime and heinous deeds are done by Christians is there are more Christians than anyone else. You are just a bigoted idiot.
